Simo86 Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 I know the 2nd round hasn't been played yet, but i was interested who people would like to be drawn against. Home or away? Personally i'd like an away tie against a lower league side, as the atmosphere is always good in the smaller grounds. Preferably on the coast so we can make a weekend out of it. Brighton maybe. I'd also take Newcastle away mainly for the night out after the game (as long as Sky didn't move it )

I'd like to go far in this comp...get to the better stages of the cup i.e. quarters - and then knock out the big clubs.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Plymouth away. It was a real kick in the bollocks drawing Exeter, but at home...
Joe. Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Orient away. 1) My flat-mate's an Orient fan 2) It's easy to get to for me 3) I missed it last season. Any London away day though would go down nicely. Wouldn't mind West Ham or Spurs...

Filbert_Ross Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Darlington at home- there shit, we should get through
Filbert_Ross Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Darlington at home- there shit, we should get through silly me, theyve been knocked out already
Guest Bilo Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Non-league team away, the home ties against Stevenage and Dagenham last year were just awful with 7000 rattling around in the Walkers. Cambridge play York and Bath are up against either Forest Green or Mansfield, any of those away would be pretty good.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Premier League away, and not one of the shit ones like Stoke, Hull, Wigan e.t.c.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL away. But to be honest I'd be happy with an away draw at any of the 2nd round teams apart from Southampton or MK ******. Huddersfield home would be decent too as my mate's an 'Udders fan. We'll probably go and draw Bolton at home now or some other bollocks. <_<
StanSP Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 On second thoughts, I wouldn't mind Spurs home or away. My favourite teacher back at school and my hallmate is a Spurs fan. So I'd quite enjoy taking the piss should we get them and then hopefully beat them.
Fox You Forest Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Anyone away that isn't in the Championship, with the exception of one or two. You just know it'll end up as something like Preston at home.
lildave3 Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Anyone that isn't in our league. Away tie somewhere I haven't been would be nice.
Ashley Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Sunderland, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham away, any of them would be decent
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 The Orient away would be good for me as it is 10 minutes away and I didn't get to go last season because I was working.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 As an addition, any League Two side away in Round 3 would be nice followed by a London and/or Premiership side away in Round 4, or a big club at home. Not asking much am I?

Guest Bilo Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 I'll settle for nothing less than a Wembley appearance. Cardiff and Barnsley made it, why can't we? None too keen on the semis being there but I wouldn't say to a trip if we made it to the last four.

Here please. Failing that Barnet, Bournemouth, York, Brentford, Exeter, Oxford, Aldershot (away end and half), Wycombe or one of the London Premiership teams.
purpleronnie Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 If burton make it to the 3rd (doubts) I would actually go and see leicester , only if it was at burton though.
Father Ted Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Would love Kettering away if they beat Leeds. Obviously any lower league team that we shold theoretically beat or Liverpool just so that we can show them how to play real football!
