maddog Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Doing this early while i remember In League One we won a crucial game at Glanford Park in the title race 2-1 thanks to a late Andy King winner. Followed by the Champions party game, the part timers were out at the Walkers for that one, a Morrison double earning us a 2-2 draw, the attendence that day over 30.5k. Our last visit to Scunny in the Championship finished 0-0, two seasons ago. We are looking for our fifth victory in 6 matches, gain ground on the top two and stay up there at the top of the playoff places. Scunny on the other hand are in terrible form, hovering just above the relegation zone, pointless in their last 4 League matches, and in between those a 5-1 drubbing at Man City in the League Cup. They've conceded 12 goals in those League games, scoring just one. Results have been mixed for the Iron, losing 3-0 to Posh and 4-1 to the Tangerines, yet picking up very good home wins against Newcastle and Preston, two of the three sides who have got the better of LCFC this season. You would still have to predict a LCFC win here though, we would all like it to be a comfortable, easy one, but it probably won't be the case. The Iron will have some home turf belief though, 4 of their 5 League wins have come there so we will have to be careful. Interesting to see if Pearson picks the same side as the Plymouth game, i couldn't care less as long as we pick up another 3 points. 2-0 Leicester, Kermo and Fryatt
StanSP Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Tight win similar to last season I think. We have an even bigger team spirit than when we played there last season, so think we should pull through . 2-1 I think. Might even be King to grab the winner again I think.
Budweiser Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 3-0. For some reason I think we'll walk this, even though we probably won't . Anyway, Howard, Fryatt and Brown to score.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Think we wil either struggle like hell and get a lucky draw or we wil lwin 2-0/3-0 easily. Gonna say 3-0 Fryatt, King and Kermo. Cant wait.
Joe. Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Think we can win this one again. S****horpe are definitely there for the taking, but they're certainly no mugs. Wouldn't mind Yann bagging.
Corky Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Real chance of three points. Picked up ten from our last four aways, so every chance we'll take more. 1-0 victory.
Dan Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 S****horpe 1-2 Leicester. Very similar to last season I think.
Tommeh Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 2-1 win. Wayne 86th minute winner. UP OUR END. MAYHEM.
Simo86 Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 2-1 win. Goals from Fryatt and a late strike from King (again). Went this one last year and it was a great atmosphere. Hopefully more of the same this year when I will also be in attendance.
Guest Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 2-1 win. Wayne 86th minute winner. UP OUR END. MAYHEM. That would be immense! I'm going 3-1 win, Kermo, Wellens, Fryatt
Corky Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 2-1 win. Wayne 86th minute winner. UP OUR END. MAYHEM. Sounds good
deepbluedevil Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 I'm normally pretty pesimistic, but have gone for a win given our form
RAFRUDY Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 I can see us having there fooking pants down 3 nil, there confidence is low and ours is sky high at the moment. Just need to take the game to them and it's ours for the taking.
Fox You Forest Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 0-2 Fryatt and Yann. C'mon Saturday hurry up.
The Doctor Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 some one in the predictions league has gone for 15-1 to us
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 When is the playoff final weekend? I'm booking it off. Oh, and 10-1 to us. Btw, what is the highest scoring Championship game ever played? We may as well break some more records on the march to the Premiership.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 2-0 win I reckon. Waggy and N'Guessan to score in a comfortable win.
easilee Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Fryatt will miss 9 one on ones after being offside 17 times then score a class goal. Kermo will score with his head from inside the box. King will get the third after coming on as sub. 3-1 City
maddog Posted 26 November 2009 Author Posted 26 November 2009 Slipped off the first page we can't have that http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1886168,00.html Pearson is professional and focused as usual despite this being a should win game on recent form.
Corky Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 Apparently this is the feature match on The Football League Show.
