How have all these people seen the Emirates stadium? Weve never played there! You cant possibly judge a stadium without going there.

Actually, thats what I was thinking.

I've been.

Best ground apart from the Walkers (which is the best), is definitely the Ricoh. Worst is definitely one of the old grounds like Anfield or White Hart Lane, too old.

I hate the Ricoh, I prefer the old grounds lol

My Nephews been to a game at the Emirates and says its too corporate and feck all atmosphere. Like I said I cant comment as I havent been there but would love the opportunity to go.

Upton Park is my fave away ground - cracking place

I was just kidding, its between Old Trafford and White Hart Lane for the best ground. Hate the Ricoh, and the Walkers. :)

Yeah, I went to the Emirates Cup in the summer, looks snazzy, but the atmosphere was beyond poor, which was most likely due to it being a friendly cup.

The Ricoh gets a lot of unneeded stick. Does it's job, my sister saw Jon Bon Jovi there, says it's good, been there myself and its not bad. The Emirates is quality though. Never been there though.

That well renowned football team. :giggle:

I'm sure it's a decent gig venue but surely it's trash for footy?

To be fair, the atmosphere isnt that bad, they have a corner near the away fans and are pretty loud. The atmosphere this season wasn't that bad. The ground is ugly though.

Wembley easily.

Alright it cost a lot of money but as a sporting venue, it's simply superb. You've not heard any of the fans who have attended playoff finals or cup finals there moan about acoustics.

Emirates is good but went to the Emirates Cup, it was all a bit friendly that day. Old Trafford - the whole place is dump and it's ugly.

Maine Road used to be my favourite. Eastlands is probably my favourite club ground visited, closely followed by SJP and Villa Park.

Villa park or molineux for nice modern stadiums. I liked Upton park too.

Also thought Hereford & exeter were proper footy stadiums.

Rushden had a nice new stadium too, with a modern terrace.

Villa Park as a modern stadium?

Even though it has the traditional four separated tiers and has been around since 1897, and the only ground to host International footy in 3 different centuries?

It hardly looks like it did 20 years let alone 100 years ago. I didnt mean modern as new build but there are alot of other stadiums that haven't been transformed as much as villa park has.

Villa Park has got to be the best for me, but I remember being absolutely awe-struck by Ewood Park when I went there for my first ever away game in 97, the Jack Walker stand was slightly more impressive than anything at Filbo.

its not about the size its the quality

Obviously not to those voting for the Ricoh! :o:(

I didn't know so many sky blues knew how to work a keyboard...

Oh, nuneatonfox, you slay me! :crylaugh:

"apart from the walkers"! lol lol lol

On a serious note...

Edgar Street, Hereford.

This......my favourite away day in a season that produced quite a few. With a honurable mention to Brisbane rd.

i liked the walkers when i visited-shit 'stadium' but one of our best away atmosphere's all season.

Though nothing beats ER, as the Liverpool home game showed.

And who the fook has voted for Old Twatford? Those voices you could hear on the telly on sunday? that was all us. place is a fooking morgue.

Wembley is a great stadium but ive been twice and i just think it lacks the "magic" of the old Wembley . No twin towers, no long walk from the tunnel behind the goal , no piss rolling down the stairs. I ve been twice once for a gig and once for a qualifier. Maybe the magic will return for me when i watch City there. Maybe the magic comes with the history made there .

Definately, I went once and it was a truely forgetable experience, people seem to love it just because its a big stadium and its 'wembley'. It wouldn't get on my top 30 stadium list.

Even the ones singing "we all hate Leeds scum"?
