tewkesbury-fox Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Be great if anyone who has been to the game could post..Thanks
flanimal Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Mine would be: Weale 9 - Quality saves all game. I'd give him Man Of The Match. Morrison 7 - Pretty solid. I don't remember him doing anything shitty. Hobbs 7 - Same as Morrison. Brown 8 - Won headers, made intercepts. Pretty dogged. Berner 7 - Calm, and consistent. N'Guessan 8 - Big, fast, strong, always going forward. Although stupid shirt pull that could've got a penalty. Gallagher 6 - Pretty quiet. Won possession back, few useful pass. Oakley 7 - Better performance. Tackled, good passes. King 6 - Just did his job. Waghorn 7 - Always willing to run, and fight for play - but sometimes too much. Fryatt 6 - Lone striker. Didn't get much of a go, but did his job well. Howard 5 - I can't remember him doing anything. Dyer 7 - The run for his goal alone was insane. One of his better games in The championship. Bruce 4 - I can't remember him doing anything.
Sods Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Haven't seen any of the game, but apperently Gallagher was one of the best players according to the OS
leftsideoverhere Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Haven't seen any of the game, but apperently Gallagher was one of the best players according to the OS If that's what the OS says then the chances are he wasn't actually playing.
Karljohn Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Just back from a quality away day, here goes... Weale 8 - Solid. Morrison 7.5 - Caught cold early on a couple of times but soon stepped up. Hobbs 7.5 - Won plenty in the air and put a foot in when it mattered most. Brown 8.5 - One of his best displays, MOM. Berner 7.5 - How we have missed him. N'Guessan 7 - Excellent going forward, not so clever tracking back, well taken goal. Gallagher 7 - Excellent workrate, sloppy at times but did his job. Oakley 7 - Hassled them well, slight improvement in the last 2 matches. King 7 - Good vision, good workrate. Waghorn 6.5 - Wayward passes today, Waggy looked a bit off the pace at times. Fryatt 6.5 - Worked hard but missed great chance early on at 0-0 when clean through Howard 5 - A few headers won, nothing special. Dyer 7 - Took the goal well, crazy run. Bruce N/A - Only had about 90 seconds and touched the ball once.
lildave3 Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 What was the formation? Well we had 4 at the back, King, Oakley in cm then Fryatt up top. The other three just seemed to roam wherever Can't be arsed to do full ratings, but Brown, Berner and Weale get 8's from me. And Dany.
Sods Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 If that's what the OS says then the chances are he wasn't actually playing. True i hate the OS, especially tonight, was just from the live text section bit.
Mikey Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Weale - 9 Morrison - 8 Brown - 8 Hobbs - 7 Berner - 8 N'Guessan - 7.5 Oakley - 7 King - 8 Gallagher - 6 Waghorn - 7.5 Fryatt - 7 Subs: Dyer - 7
Dan Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 What was the formation? Weale Morrison -- Hobbs -- Brown -- BernerOakley -- KingWaghorn -- Gallagher -- N'GuessanFryatt Something like that. Anyways: Weale (9) - Made a load of absolute class saves once again, best signing of the summer. Morrison (5) - Thought he was skinned regularly by Bannan, but also did some good things, one of the weaker links today. Hobbs (8) - Cleared absolutely everything, solid. Brown (8) - Read above. Berner (6) - Didn't do too much today, wasn't bad though. Oakley (7) - Did some good things today to be fair, good performance. King (7) - Some moments he looked good and at others he didn't, seems to wait too long to play the final ball. Waghorn (7) - Kept running and running but passing was pretty poor. Gallagher (8) - Showed glimpses of quality today, another good game for him I think. N'Guessan (9 - Man of the match) - Did everything a winger should do, dribbled, created, scored, crossed regularly and well. Would be a 10 but he made a few mistakes. Fryatt (7) - Not bad at times, should of had a goal really.

Weale 8 very solid not MOTM as i dont want it to appear we were 2nd best Morrison 7 overall did ok perhaps the weakest performer in our defence today but didnt let us down Brown 9 MOTM arock Hobbbs 8 Slightly behind Brown Berner 7 Solid Waghorn 7 Worked hard but imo needed to support Fryatt more Oakley 7 Tireless worker not much creativity King 7 as Oakley Gallagher 8 First time ive been impressed by him, looked good when in possession worked hard NGuessan 8.5 Excellent game, not just the goal , worked hard, was direect and put in good crosses (must stay in team) Fryatt 7 Worked hard little support excellent assist for 2nd goal Dyer 7 Looked lively Howard 6 didnt offer much Bruce 6 not on long enough to comment Overall difficult match/conditions but did me proud (as i live in Blackpool)
SamL Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Weale (9) Morrison (7) Hobbs (8) Brown (8) Berner (8) Oakley (7) King (7) Gallagher (7) Waghorn (7) N'Guessan (8) Fryatt (7)
lou Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 How the fook can anyone can score Waghorn a 7 on that performance is beyond me!! To score him ahead of Gallagher is a joke. His passing was dreadful and he didnt contribute a lot yesterday NP obviously saw that and took him off quite rightly. Just an off day for the lad. Just running around a lot doesnt constitute a decent performance Weale 8 - I thought he could have caught the ball he punched out that they then scored from? His brilliant saves were quality though Brown 8.5 Getting back to his best again! Morrison - 7.5 Couple of rocky moments Hobbs - 7.5 Berner - 8 thank God hes back Oakley 7 King 7 Gally 8 Decent game Nguessen 9 (MOTM) Lovely goal and loads of good crosses Waghorn 5.5 Poor, poor passing just a bad day at the office Fryatt - 7 Dyer 7.5 (fecking useless according to the bloke in front of me) what a turn of pace for that goal! Should have had 2 though Howard and Bruce N/A Pearson 8 did nothing wrong and took Waggers off when he wasnt performing well. Fan with flare 10 Blackpool 0

Scow Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 (Drunken ratings) Weale - 9 Some excellent saves. Morrison - 7 Looked a little iffy at times but largely solid. Hobbs / Brown - 8 Commanding. Berner - 8 Composed and assured as usual. Waghorn - 6 Not his best game, though he worked his arse off. Oakley - 7 The new formation suits him. However, it was Gallagher given more freedom behind Fryatt this time. King - 7 Good coverage. Gallagher - 7 Looked dangerous and caused them a few problems from that central position. N'Guessan - 8 Great finish and lively performance. Fryatt - 7 Perhaps a little isolated at times but his movement was good. Good cross for Dyer's goal. Subs: Dyer - 7 Well taken goal and added some pace to the side. Howard - 5 Not really involved. Bruce - N/A I can't remember him doing anything - that was probably the drink though.
Guest Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 He did find N'Guessan for his goal though And he almost scored from a cross from N'Guessan himself. Weale - 8.5 Morro - 8 Hobbs - 8 Brown - 8 Berner - 8 Gally - 7.5 Oakley - 7 King - 7.5 Waggy - 6.5 Fryatt - 7 N'Guessan - 8.5 Dyer - 7 Howard - 6 Bruce - N/A
lou Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 He did find N'Guessan for his goal though he did indeed and I took that into account when awarding him a score but no way was he as good as any of the others yesterday.
David Guiza Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Weale - 9 - Brilliant saves throughout but maybe seen the goal abit late. Morrison - 6 - May have been a different story if Bannan stayed on but he dealt with Burgess alright. Hobbs - 9 - MOM, Dominated Brown - 8 - Dominated Berner - 7 - We look so much more solid with him at the back. Oakley - 7 - Not that noticable but a decent display again. King - 7 - Kept Charlie Adam reasnobaly quiet and had a decent game. Waghorn - 6 - Good knock for the goal but overall not his best game. Gallagher - 7 - A few decent passes and showed strength to set up the second. N'Guessan - 8 - Terrorised there full back pretty much every cross found a blue shirt and decent finish as well, one of his best games so far. Fryatt - 7 - Did alright, good run and cross for the 2nd but i don't think he thrives with this formation. Dyer - 6 - Good run for the goal but didn't do to much else.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Weale 9 - fooking awesome. Morrison 7 - Pretty solid. Hobbs 7 - Good game. Brown 7 - Solid but distribution was shite again. Berner 8 - We really miss him when he doesnt play N'Guessan 8 - Good game nice to have some mucsle on the wing. Gallagher 6 - Gave the ball away a bit. Oakley 7 - Another much better perormance. King 7 - Went about his business quietly. Waghorn 7 - Good ball to N'Guessan and overall good. Fryatt 7 - Could have scored but ok really. Howard 5 Dyer 7
Asha Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Blackpool 0 I thought Blackpool were very dangerous up front, could have easily bagged themselves some points if it wasn't for Chris Weale.
lou Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I thought Blackpool were very dangerous up front, could have easily bagged themselves some points if it wasn't for Chris Weale. I meant the place not the team
Bert Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Waghorn was carrying a knock yesterday which is why he was brought off early.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 February 2010 Posted 8 February 2010 Weale -8- Good saves but I do think he could have saved their goal, although I haven't seen it on tv so I could be wrong. Morrison -6- Was beaten by Bannan everytime but improved after he went off. Brown -8- Excellent. Hobbs -8- As above. Berner -7- Solid. Waghorn -6- Worked hard but nothing really came off, should have scored. Oakley -7- Great workrate. King -7- As above. Gallagher -7- Excellent work rate but got sloppy towards end. N'Guessan -8- Excellent, good finish and some excellent balls into the box. Wish he could play like that regular. Fryatt -7- Worked his socks off, good chance early on but maybe should have squared it for King. Howard -5- Did he even touch the ball. Dyer -7- Effort for the goal but hardly seen the ball. I found it difficult to mark the middle 3 because they all looked as though they were working very hard but the Blackpool midfield always seemed to have space, and there was also too many times when Gallagher was the back of the 3.
Simo86 Posted 8 February 2010 Posted 8 February 2010 Weale 9 Morrison 7 Hobbs 8 Brown 8 Berner 8 King 6 Oakley 7 Gallagher 7 N'Guessan 8 Waghorn 7 Fryatt 7 Subs Howard 6, Dyer 7
