Still amazes me how that guy can afford a pair of G-Star 96's.

Probably nicked them from a Muslim shop.

As an Englishman, I feel so much safer knowing they're defending me.

Agreed, the amount of times I almost got 'islamised' yesterday frightened me into enrolling in our new vigilante heroes!

Ah, I remember this thread in the summer now. Someone reported me for swearing at them :giggle:

Well you were behaving like a knob.

Against that Muslim stall maybe? They say Jesus was a Muslim uno :dunno:

I might be wrong, but as far as I'm aware Islam has always recognised Jesus as a prophet.

But it's a bit like saying that Abraham was a Jew. He's an important figure in Judaism, but he was alive before it actually started.

By the way, have you ever noticed that if you stand an Arab and an Israeli next to each other in the same clothes, it's hard guess which is which?

Conspiracy theorists are what you get when naive people are converted to cynicism and have nothing to restrain it. Cynicism is fine when you see people in shades of grey, understand cognative dissonance and how people are creatures with shifting motivations, complex emotions, and are only ever partly informed. When you start to believe that everyone in power is some kind of high-functioning evil sociopath out only for their own ends, only then can you believe this kind of crazy shit. Frankly it's that rather than some of these half-baked theories that's more unbelievable.

I mean, I dislike Tony Blair viscerally, but I still don't think he did what he did because he's a bad person. I'm sure he thought it was right at the time and it wouldn't surprise me if he still does today. Barely anyone apart from psychopaths or the mentally ill does anything because they think it's wrong.

Very nearly everyone has to answer ultimately to their conscience, religious or non-religious, good or bad.

Sorry to drag up a post from 5 months ago - but this is absolutely spot on. Well said, Sir Flynny.

I hope you are well mate.
