Guest Bilo Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 I swear at least half of them were yesterday. Bloody lineo.
Edmund Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 According to The Observer:Top 4 Leicester - 146 Derby - 115 Middlesboro - 109 Coventry - 108 All without DJ I've always said he was made a scapegoat
davieG Posted 21 February 2010 Author Posted 21 February 2010 I've always said he was made a scapegoat Shouldn't your sig be in the 'If' topic
Zingari Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 I can't honestly say that i understand the offside rule , I think it's got in-built loopholes
Edmund Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Shouldn't your sig be in the 'If' topic Great yet bizarre film, have you seen it?
Zingari Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Great yet bizarre film, have you seen it? i switched off when the headmaster came out of the office drawer , weird !!
davieG Posted 21 February 2010 Author Posted 21 February 2010 Great yet bizarre film, have you seen it? Yes but it was when it first came out so can hardly remember the storyline, if it had one but do remember some of the detail so it must have had an impact because I recognised the picture immediately. Just checked the date 1968
Edmund Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 i switched off when the headmaster came out of the office drawer , weird !! yeah I forgot about that. That means you missed the tanks and army at the end. It's actually quite clever cinematography. I'm sure it's suppose to be seen as if your viewing the characters lives through their imaginations and nothing is real. Showing your age that just about sums up my own life , i don't need films for that
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 30 more than the next team!!! Like to know how many were incorrect.
Scow Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 It's probably because Howard and Fryatt have been too slow to get back onside...
Asha Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 This doesn't surprise me in the slightest, always being caught offside.
DB11 Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 I can't honestly say that i understand the offside rule , I can
Bert Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Waghorn was "offside" at least 6 times yesterday The officials were perhaps the top 3 worst we've had this season.
Guest Bilo Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Waghorn was "offside" at least 6 times yesterday The officials were perhaps the top 3 worst we've had this season. Fuck me they were atrocious. Every time Waggy did them for pace he was called offside, absolutely awful performance from them yesterday.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 At least 140 of those were yesterday. It was beyond a joke at times yesterday.
Cobbo Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Waghorn was "offside" at least 6 times yesterday The officials were perhaps the top 3 worst we've had this season. He was offside about 20 times against Bristol City! It just shows how Pearson wants his strikers to play, right on the shoulders of the defence.
Anish Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Waghorn was "offside" at least 6 times yesterday The officials were perhaps the top 3 worst we've had this season. Agreed. I don't normally lambast officials but yesterday was beyond a joke. In the first half almost every time Waghorn was chasing the long ball he was flagged offside. Add to that the number of times our players were fouled and it was almost a case of the officials being Plymouth fans.
Donut Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Why lambast the officials? Our strikers should just learn to time their runs better, simple as that None of them can time a run Instead we lambast officials for flagging players offside when they ARE offside and cant time a run for shizzle
ozleicester Posted 22 February 2010 Posted 22 February 2010 All well and good having a go at the officials, but was he offside when he was flagged for it? By reading some comments here, sounds like he was, in which case, have a go at him. Its a simple enough rule, but its understandable for a striker who is pushing forward the whole match to be caught on occasion, especially against an intelligent defensive group. Also, from what i understand, the pitch was atrocious and NP was playing a hoofball based game, which again is going to lead to offsides.
CupidStunt Posted 22 February 2010 Posted 22 February 2010 wonder what the figure would be with DJ in the team?, off the frigging scale
