Chris Weale for England

It amazes me how he's actually getting better.

His handling tonight was insanly good. Held everything and never looked like conceding.

If he perfomed like this week in week out in the PL your shout isn't half bad.

it made shure the X-Factor winner wasnt number one

The music number 1 is decided by the public based on what they go out and buy... the England number 1 shirt is not at all decided by the public and if anyone thinks that Capello will be swayed by a Facebook group, they are insanely stupid.

I'm not calling you stupid by any means as I'm sure you're just doing it for the sheer hell of it and as a bit of a laugh, but if anyone out there seriously does think this might work... God help them.

Nah you are right it wont work. However there is nothing wrong with letting someone believe and learn the hard way ;)

Is it just me who don't see the Weale hype? I rate him but some people seem to be getting a little bit carried away.

i can't believe he has been "bullied" into changing it!!!

I'll just point out that he changed it before my post so I didn't "bully" him into changing it. :giggle:

And as long as he's just having a bit of fun that's fine... it did seem for a second there that he thought it might actually work though which was slightly worrying.

Most of our 'keepers seem to, I swear it's Stowell or something. Even Hendo wasn't quite so much of a liability by the time he left and was having the odd good game.

I am never going to join a Facebook group.
Me neither.

Because I have no friends. :(

I am thinking of starting a facebook group with the title of 'Jon the Hat and PurpleRonnie have to join a Facebook Group if I get 10,000 members.' :)

There must be a reason why Stowell is probably the longest serving chap involved with the club. (Birch aside)

Have only seen Weale live once against Newcastle at home. A couple of times on the internet. He does seem very quick on the line but on the other hand does not look convincing from corners and crosses - is this actually the case???

Weale for England - maybe a bit premature..........
