maddog Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Leon Clarke double <_< Some of the other results go our way. Forest score late winner, so Swansea lose aswell. We remain 5th place. A couple of points behind 4th Swansea. A couple of points ahead of 6th Cardiff. 4 points clear of 7th with game in hand. Big game next week at home to Cardiff. Bit of a shame meh.
MC Prussian Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 What a shame. Good for the Wednesday, should give them a lifeline for the remaining dozen games this season. We gave the game away, no real pressure going forward, a couple of individual disappointments (Brown with another near-shocker). Cardiff at home next... Pfff. I expect another Forest performance, ahem.
hesapeepingtom Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 why are we a charity for shit teams! we should be going out to relegate these ****ers! i want to see a ruthless leicester city!

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 The run had to come to an end sometime, doubtless there'll be one or two knee jerk reactions tonight though. Can't understand why Adams is very, very rarely used. Sounded like the midfield acheived nothing in terms of creativity in honesty. Never mind, beat Cardiff next week and this blip will all be forgotten.
Edmund Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 doubtless there'll be one or two knee jerk reactions tonight though. let people knee jerk if they want. People complaining about people complaining seems to be the latest thing.
The Doctor Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 disappointing performance, far too complacent. Like plymouth, sheff wed are down there due to a terrible regime under the previous manager rather than a lack of ability. Hope weale is fit for next week, else we're screwed simply because of the exsistance of conrad logan. i'd honestly rather have Tony Warner, Dave Martin or Rab Douglas in goal than him, In fact i'd rather get David Blunkett in goal than logan, and Pentney/Ambrusics don't have enough experience to cover. Got to hit back V Cardiff next week. Still other results went fairly well for us.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 let people knee jerk if they want.People complaining about people complaining seems to be the latest thing. Complaining about today's performance - fine. Complaining about the season - unreasonable. Didn't realise you'd be so offended.

Agreed, just got to take this on the chin and try and react in our next game. Always a shame to lose but that's football. What a shame. Good for the Wednesday, should give them a lifeline for the remaining dozen games this season. Fuck Sheffield Wednesday, hope they go down personally. What the hell? Would like you to try and point out any occasion when Conrad Logan has ever let this football club down, because I can't think of anything. He's fine to step in, was always competent at this level. You're basing that crap ^ on sod all.
Edmund Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Complaining about today's performance - fine.Complaining about the season - unreasonable. Didn't realise you'd be so offended. Chill Winston it was only a bit of banter. I'm on your side, but I just find it quietly funny that the knee jerk reactions have been replaced with people knee jerking to knee jerkers.
purpleronnie Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Not surprised ,I hate playing teams on a losing streak (law of averages), our division is a bit like that any team can beat anyone else. We used to struggle against bottom teams but we seemed to be ok this season...until now.
Edmund Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Bet the ****** will be out in full force. I rest my case
FoxyPV Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 It's a bad result but as long everything is sorted for next week. We need to concentrate until the final whistle against Cardiff next week and if we do I think a positive result is there for the taking
Matt Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Very Frustrated, I'm not gonna go on and moan and hit the panic button, but i'm very frustrated to say the least, It just shows how shite and stupid this league is when we can play well and beat 3rd (Now 2nd) in the division then go to a struggling 3rd from bottom and lose, no disrespect to Sheffield Wednesday. Gotta start questioning Kermogant soon though. Big, big Game next week. Massive.

It's an observation about them my old fruit. I hate our fans.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 I'm taking this one on the chin. Was so much hype and expectation before the match, because we were the 'In Form' side, and Sheff Wednesday were not. Oh well.
maddog Posted 6 March 2010 Author Posted 6 March 2010 Major ****s on BBC radio Leicester. Someone said 'where will the 18 points come from to guarantee a playoff place' After losing just 1 game, after winning 3 in a row. Fooking hell
tartanowl Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 We fully deserved the 3 points. Fantastic move for the second goal and we could easily have had more. Your centre back Brown is shocking. Leon gave him the runaround all game. Great following from your boys. Good luck for the rest of the season. Fuck Sheffield Wednesday, hope they go down personally. You've changed your tune since you used to come on our forum.

You're basing that crap ^ on sod all. would you like to go through performances in the season where he played about 1/3rd of the games (either 05/06 or 06/07) and take a look at how many basic errors he was making? He's mid-table L1 at best, why do you think he was sent out on loan to luton last season when we were having a keeping crisis?
Guest DavidJCW Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 Pff... that's taken the wind out of the sails a bit... However, having taken a bit of time to think about it, we're still in a very good position... it's just that we've got some very difficult games coming up that we could have done with a bit more of a cushion going in to. Still, got to believe that we'll still make it!
AoWW Posted 6 March 2010 Posted 6 March 2010 maddog, why have you tagged this thread with a 'happy' smilie?

TBF don't get me wrong, I don't hate Wednesday, but I don't like you, you always seem to fook us up one way or another! I know we're the only ones that can change that by beating you and we have done once this season, but this loss does seem a setback which hopefully will be changed and forgotten about next week, but if i'm honest I really don't understand the love in for Wednesday some have got on here, but fair enough it's what they like, it's what they respect and it's their choice and opinion. Good luck for the rest of the season, There are many teams down there i'd like to see get relegated than Wednesday.
