kylestyle06 Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 I'm starting to get annoyed with going to away games now. I only really go to away games, and will make them all, but when you have some flask taking annoying **** who comes up to you, reading their ticket, saying "are you in my seat"? Everyone at the back was standing , and some moaning female came raging because I was stood up where her seat was. Any local away game is shit, and full of people who sit their with their flasks, not supporting their team. I'm fed up or worrying about where i'm going to stand incase some moaner who only goes to the likes of Cov/Forest/Derby comes and moans that you're standing in their seat, supporting your team. And before anyone says there was a few empty seats around where should could perch her fat posh arse. Atleast when I go to palace it should be the die hards who all stand and support their team anyway!!!!!!!! Im going to refuse to go to cov/derby/peterborough/forest because of these fooking retards.. really is starting to get to me now.
Shrenchel Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Didn't think the standing was too bad on Saturday myself. About half up I'd say, best I can remember there for a long time. Stewards were a lot better than in previous years as well, didn't see too much mither. Shouldn't get so pissed off about one old hag. Always gunna be some people like that. Play the game, if she really won't shut up, just find somewhere else to stand. Plenty of people there would have quite happily squeezed up for you.
lou Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Well we were pretty bobbins in all honesty, average approach play with next to no creativity and absolutely no desire to shoot whatsoever. I'm blaming myself for this result to be fair, it's my 4th Saturday away of the season and my 3rd defeat.Back 4 were horrendous Thats good coz were all blaming you too! Yes the back 4 were horrendous... not just Brown as most on this thread seem to be singling him out for blame. I though Berner and Hobbs were as bad.
martyn Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 No need for knee jerk reactions here. We've played poorly and lost several times this season, however unlike previous years we actually have a side and a manager capable of bouncing back very quickly. Having said that, I don't think I've seen the back 4 so comprehensively made to look like idiots for sometime, Hobbs, Brown and even Bruno were all shocking. Was sitting with the Wednesday fans and can confirm what somebody said in the thread earlier about their moaners... they make our West Standers appear positively tolerant and knowledgable about football.
kylestyle06 Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Yeah, it just does my head in pal, get idiots trying to stop you support your team so they can sit down .. slut
lou Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Yeah, it just does my head in pal, get idiots trying to stop you support your team so they can sit down .. slut You ever considered anger management?
kylestyle06 Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 No, its not that bad.. I just enjoy a good atmousphere when I go to away matches.. is that alot to expect?

I managed it from the third row up and even seen someone use their commonsense asking the stewards if they could sit on the second row cos they didn't want to stand!
lou Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 No, its not that bad.. I just enjoy a good atmousphere when I go to away matches.. is that alot to expect? Nope and Im with you on that one AND the standing issue - just thought calling her a slut for wanting to sit in her own seat was a bit OTT
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Did anyone else see nicky adams "bustin sum moves"with the cheerleaders at half time?:-) I noticed him doing that when he didn't have the ball
Ozwin Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Anyone else get body searched before they were let in? I felt like a right crim.
SemperEadem Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Anyone else get body searched before they were let in? I felt like a right crim. Yeah i did, got searched there before when i went there to watch Hartlepool with a mate.
Daggers Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 No, its not that bad.. I just enjoy a good atmousphere when I go to away matches.. is that alot to expect? No less than someone expecting to be able to get to the seat they paid for? Why should they run the risk of copping shit from a steward because you've been a bit of a selfish prick and taken their seat? Too many people seem to think they can do whatever the shit they want, all in the name of 'atmosphere'. Attitudes like yours put back the reintroduction of safe standing areas by years. Her "posh, fat arse" is one more vote during elections, maybe it is an influential arse with connections within the game. She wants to sit in her seat - is that too much to expect?
lcfc_jme Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Thats good coz were all blaming you too! Yes the back 4 were horrendous... not just Brown as most on this thread seem to be singling him out for blame. I though Berner and Hobbs were as bad. Berner was probably as bad as I can remember him being for a long, long time (possibly on a par with Forest away?) and Hobbs looked clueless. Morrison didn't do an awful lot wrong but he didn't exactly make any outstanding contributions either. Horribly disjointed and looked like they'd never played football before, let alone together as a pretty solid unit for a consistent period of time. Minor blip anyhow, we'll be fine again soon. The real highlight of the day was Maybes' harassment of Sappleton on the train that was absolutely top dollar.

lildave3 Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Can't believe I missed big Ricky on the train. Probably for the best, at least this way I don't get a restraining order
C.J Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Did anyone else see nicky adams "bustin sum moves"with the cheerleaders at half time?:-) Yeah, my mate spotted that. I just caught the end of it, hopefully it'll be a 3rd eye on scoccer am. I knew it was going to be a bad afternoon when I put sweet chille sauce on my bacon cheaseburger instead of tomarto.
Donut Posted 8 March 2010 Posted 8 March 2010 Real shame about the result in front of a big travelling following Wednesday were very direct and pacey and gave our back four a torrid time unfortunately. Bruno had his worst game for a long time and Wayne Brown, wow, he was really suffering. Jermaine Johnson was sensational. No easy games in the championship though, all comes down to 'on the day'. Recent results prove that. Still, always nice visiting a quality footy stadium rather than the usual meccano set stadiums everywhere Pies AND gravy, brilliant innovation
ACF Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 The real highlight of the day was Maybes' harassment of Sappleton on the train that was absolutely top dollar. Would love to hear that

Im going to refuse to go to cov/derby/peterborough/forest because of these fooking retards.. really is starting to get to me now. I just cannot understand people that wan't to travel all that distance, sitting in the car / bus / train, to then sit down at the game mouth shut for 20 quid. Our numbers haven't really changed much, but the good fans are being replaced by crap ones in my opinion. Also, you give examples of those 4. Forest everyone stands, Peterborough everyone stands because you have no choice but to, Derby I'm not sure I've actually never been, but I would imagine thats standing. Although Cov is arguably the worst of them all, for a local rival our away support is a complete and utter embarrassment. Didn't think the standing was too bad on Saturday myself. About half up I'd say, best I can remember there for a long time. Stewards were a lot better than in previous years as well, didn't see too much mither. Shouldn't get so pissed off about one old hag. I heard from my mate who stood at the back with us that our standing was good, he had a look when he went for a piss. Although I got told by a SWFC fan that it was about 25%, and when thats considered good, then we have support issues. Selfish? Its her that is being selfish, I'm sorry but people are happy to ruin other peoples away days just so they don't have to move, and for absolutely no benefit whatsoever. I think to be honest the majority want to stand, but don't because they are scared of being in trouble for it. The fact people can be called unsafe and get in trouble just for standing up is simply quite an embarrassment.
C-man Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 I heard from my mate who stood at the back with us that our standing was good, he had a look when he went for a piss. Although I got told by a SWFC fan that it was about 25%, and when thats considered good, then we have support issues. 25% Seeing as we had 2 out of 5 blocks 100% up and probably a decent 40% across the middle three, I'd say we were looking at around 2000 standing.
kylestyle06 Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 MARIO BROTHER KEMPES What are you on about? She could move to the front and sit where there was empty seats.. people like her ruin the atmousphere, of a usual loud , well supported team.. Obviously you don't stand and support your team and understand the fustration of someone who likes to cheer the team on and cause an atmousphere.. you've tried to look a cocky shit, but you look silly my friend.
Maybes Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 25% Seeing as we had 2 out of 5 blocks 100% up and probably a decent 40% across the middle three, I'd say we were looking at around 2000 standing. Exactly what I thought. Your sheffield wednesday mates thought around 60% of us where standing if I remember correctly. I was pleasantly suprised upon entering Hillsborough at 3.02pm to the both left hand side blocks on their feet.

Saturday had a lot of potential had we not completely whiffed it on the pitch.
AmericanScott Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Very late reply, been very busy with work yadda yadda. We generated a decent atmosphere at times. Wednesday fans were poor. They made some tiny amount of noise towards the end after the second goal. Our final product was terrible. Did okay in the midfield though. I got scared every time that Clarke or Johnson (i can't see whos who without my specs) ran at Brown. Wayne backed off like a pussy. Reminded me of Forest away. Enough complaining, still proud to be where we are. Bring on Cardiff. Another thing that pissed me off, those annoying 17 year olds in front of me with their little inflatable girlfriend they threw around. You can tell they had a can between them and thought they were smashed and well cool. Bell fooking ends! Highlight of the day had to be watching everyone run for the tram, well Bilo. Everyone else just casually jogged over the road, but Bilo full on sprinted to the traffic lights, sprinted over the road, and then up to the trams. Comedy at it's finest. Was this just before West Street? I felt well sorry for him haha. This guy proper pushed him and said "mate, i promise that tram goes train station run and jump on it quick!!!" Also, sorry to Bilo for leaving him in the Swim. We couldn't find you when we left for common room. Much love.
