Samilktray Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 What club's offering £6m for a player that's barely had 20 starts? What a load of rubbish. What I was thinking !
Bert Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 I love how people suddenly start to "talking" to fans of other clubs once we've signed someone.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 I was thinking more the first point. He is a very good potential but I just cant see how he can be valued at £5m when he's played so few games. Saying that, with a lot of deals based on add ons and appearances then maybe it could total that. But I'm in the same camp as you, I'm guessing we only have a deal if we get promoted. You're probably right there to be honest. Even if he was going for £2-3 million, which would be something of a steal, MM would be unlikely to shell out unless we were promoted. Add-ons and appearances if promoted would be a more attractive deal in my opinion, as add-ons would imply a successful season if based along the lines of goals and staying in the Prem. But it's surely a non-starter unless promoted so that's all conjecture.
Lillehamring Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 if we make it to the prem and have £6M to spend on a striker, i'd like to think that we can get someone a bit more proven than vaughan
Daggers Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Some Everton fans I've spoken to say £5m. I know that's very steep, but apparently they rejected a potential £6m last summer (?). Behave. The only way he's going for that is if his dick is made of precious metal and Moyes has been in touch with CashMyGold.com

davieG Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Definitely looks like he'll be heavily involved [/url] Everton boss David Moyes says James Vaughan's loan move to Leicester City will be good for him.The young striker will spend a month at the Championship side, who are currently fifth in the table. "When James came back from Derby he had an injury and we nursed him that and got him ready," Moyes told evertonTV. "We got him back involved in the squad but I think now we can let him go out on loan. "We have let him go for a month and if we need to get him back because we pick up any injuries then we can do so. It is to get him some games."
StanSP Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 I love how people suddenly start to "talking" to fans of other clubs once we've signed someone. I've known this Everton fan for a year now. She lives right next to the training ground, knows Jose Baxter pretty well too. It's not like I've made bullshit stories up before is it? Whos your source FF? As said above

Daggers Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Stoke City made the bid to sign Vaughan, offering a £2million payment Not £5M, that'd only be made up with goals, appearances, cups and internationals. Two mil seems a reasonable price.
