Hitesh Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Strange for the OS to be this quick but I'm slightly concerned with the "Expected" bit of it. Remember what happened with Osborne from Villa last season...
lcfcsam Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 What a coup for City. Wouldn't call it a coup tbh. Its a good signing of a young player with a couple of prem games under his belt. Will keep Waghorn on his toe's though which can only be a good thing.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Bit injury prone but if he can stay fit, he has the ability and potential to score a few in this league. Let's hope he's here soon and can give us something new between now and the end of the season.
LCFC-TOM Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Looks like it is true - training with us this morning. Good signing IMO.
jimmer Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Like him as a player, direct and pacey. Poor lads had a rough time with injuries, hope he can knock on and start to make more of a name for himself....starting here!
foxoffderby Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Great news. Getting one over Derby is even better, they were expected to sign him with a view to a permo move in the summer. He did well for them until he got injured. Bags of potential, if we can keep him fit. Well done NP and thankyou MM. Can see Steve Howard going out on loan somewere now as a consequence. I would like another centre midfield player just to freshen things up and we should be able to crack on now for the playoffs.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 If he can stay fit then could be a good signing, big if though.
Bert Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 I'm pretty certain it's already done. Initial month is to see whether fryatt can make some sort of comeback, we'll extend it if not.
MrSpaM Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Good signing if it pulls through and he can keep fit, not quite sure what we'd do with him on the pitch though. Replace Waghorn? Replace Gallagher? maybe oakley gets the boot, Gallagher moves into Oakleys role, with Vaughan up front with waggers? Cant see us signing him to be a super sub, he's scored in the premiership recently so i'd expect him to start some games for us at least. Looks like Everton are looking to sell at end of season, so this might work out alright for us if he's decent.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Clough is unhappy. Rams boss Nigel Clough said: "It is disappointing because the last conversations we had with Everton were that they would let us know if the situation changed with regard to going out on loan."That was the last we heard from Everton but now we hear he is going to Leicester, so you can judge our feelings on that one."
Guest Mee-9 Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Clough is unhappy. Watch out Pearson, Might get a knee in the back, after the Derby match
lcfc_jme Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Watch out Pearson, Might get a knee in the back, after the Derby match Pearson would fucking destroy Clough, blind-attack or not. Bless Derby's little wooly socks, not their fault they're a shit little tinpot bunch of morons, is it? Well, maybe it is. Either way they can bollocks. Vaughan would be quality if fit, would take him on a permanent move if it's a possibility and his injuries are behind him.
Unit Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Strange for the OS to be this quick but I'm slightly concerned with the "Expected" bit of it. Remember what happened with Osborne from Villa last season... Well it's not on the OS anymore... hmmm
MrSpaM Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Vaughan would be quality if fit, would take him on a permanent move if it's a possibility and his injuries are behind him. Everton have already said he's leaving the club in the summer, i think this is what derby are most annoyed about, because it's more likely he'd sign for us now. I hope it happens to be honest.
Ashley Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Excellent signing if it's true, why was it on the OS as expected for tho
lou Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 It's confirmed now Happy with this! (would do a thumbs up but cant get my emotions to work for some reason)
Basingstoke Fox Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Glad it didn't somehow fall through, that would've been embarrassing!
MikeyT Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Happy with this! (would do a thumbs up but cant get my emotions to work for some reason) Like This you mean?
StanSP Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Happy with this! (would do a thumbs up but cant get my emotions to work for some reason) You're dead inside.
Braunyfox Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Good bit of business and seeing as mm is paying for it out his own pocket, it can't be bad for the club ...........
