Dylan Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 A win away to Palace will surely give us a play-off place IMO. There's some other crunch matches in the Championship like- Coventry v Cardiff, Sheff Utd v Blackpool, Swansea v WBA. So I think a win would put us in a comfortable position, as our play-off competitors are bound to drop points. Crystal Palace are a decent side- there only 20th because of their points deduction, otherwise they'd be fighting for a play-off place too. However, they've only won 1 of their last 7 in the league, and lost 4 of their last 5 home league games, so they are beatable. I think we should stick to the same starting lineup that beat Cardiff today, replacing Solano with Bruce if he's not fit to play. A win at Palace would leave us with a bigger gap to 7th place, with 2 winnable home games to come. Come on City!

Dylan Posted 13 March 2010 Author Posted 13 March 2010 Why 2 threads??? One was accidental. I clicked post, and it took ages so i clicked again and it created 2
Ozwin Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Weale Solano Morisson Hobbs Berner King Wellens Oakley Gallagher Dyer Waghorn Zing!
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Tough to beat away but the loss of Warnock and the 10 point deduction have hit them hard. 1-0 win with Gallagher making it three against Palace this season. It'll be a quality evening.
maddog Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 I'm feeling really relaxed about supporting LCFC right now, even if we lose this one i will still feel the same. We're in such a strong position now, we don't need to win this game, but it would be very nice. Palace in the last few weeks have lost at home to Coventry and Bristol City, they've failed to score in their previous two matches. I fancy a draw here, and would gladly take it, a draw here and a win against Cov would be
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Reckon we are goint to do well, espcially when they ares truggling for goals. Palace 0-3City. King, Gallagher, Oakley
dandannieldanok Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 I think we'll lose by the odd goal, hope I'm wrong
Budweiser Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 we don't need to win this game, but it would be very nice. Fcuk me, we're not exactly guaranteed a play-off spot, yet your saying we don't need a win.. Crazy.
lcfcadam Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 We're in such a strong position now, we don't need to win this game, but it would be very nice. As a football club, we go into every single game needing to win it - now that we've actually got something genuine to play for, that applies even moreso.
Webbo Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 I think what maddog is trying to say is a draw would do.

Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Its a difficult period for them at the moment and it's always a tough place to go. Feeling optimistic right now though so i'm going for a city win...with a streaker to boot

Ozwin Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 I thought Palace was one of the worst ground to get to? How come everyone's looking forward to it?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Silly to say that beating Palace will gaurentee us a play-off place... if anything, this is a game we can possibly afford to lose. Much more important, and losable, games to come (Cardiff, Middlesboro, Cov, Preston) Still gonna win though!
Aeropars Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 I've gone for a draw. Palace have had a torrid time but it seems teams like to battle back against us. I'm going for a 1-1 draw with an Oakley equaliser post 70 minutes.
Salieri Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 If Colin was still in charge i'd be feeling less optimistic but now he's fecked off we'll win. 1-0 Waggy (again!).
Ford Super Sunday Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Palace FanWe won't win, our record is absymal. We haven't won a Tuesday night home game since 2008 we have won 3 of our last 17 Tuesday home games .
