Matt Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 I hope the away leg selling arrangements are being kept the same as they have been for all aways this season. In Nottingham that day so touch and go whether I'll make kick off. £35 for a one way ticket with a rail card aswell. Stink. Unless we get Forest, then you're sorted.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 The one ticket per person is a joke. But moving on.. On our day we can beat anyone. One of our best performances was at home v Cardiff. If we don't go up I can see us getting auto next year, we have some quality championship players. The spine of our team is probably the best with Hobbs, Brown, King, Wellens and Waggy. Not forgetting our other quality players such as Bruno, Spearing, Vaughan, Morrison ( Could name a lot more but these players are likely to feature in the play offs.) Going off topic slightly but our support yesterday was top notch, I think we have some of the best fans in the league. Most stood except for some miserable toads in the middle towards the front and the willy puller next to me who went mardy when i started swinging my shirt round and going mental when we scored. I feel we have to get a 2 goal lead at the Walkers in order to progress from the semi's because Cardiff is a tough place to go. We the fans will have a huge part to play there. See you all at Wembley and don't forget, SING YOUR HEARTS OUT 4 THE LADS. !! Comonn youu Bluesss
Guest Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 The one ticket per person is a joke. But moving on.. Why?
Shrenchel Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 The one ticket per person is a joke. But moving on.. Not it's not. Why should someone who's followed the team home and away all season miss out because most ST holders have a wife/mate from work/lad from the pub who barely goes but fancies the big day out at Wembley?! No they didnt. I was standing on row 31 of 40 and for the majority of the stand that was the front row on their feet with some small sections going down either side. 40% max.

I love standing and do so whenever poss at games, but yesterday ended up about 6 rows from the front in front of a bunch of old geezers who could hardly stand at all never mind for 90 minutes, so in this scenario am I a miserable toad for having to sit down for some of the game or just actually considerate of other people? Am I not as good a fan as you? because I think having only missed 6 games home and away in 2 years even though I do shift work isn't bad at all. Think you should keep your massive generalisations to yourself to be honest

LCFC_kash Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 Thanx lisa! im chuffed i can make both legs and wembley!! hahaha have to start saving from now, well worth it! When you're smiling, when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you. When you're laughing, when you're laughing, the sun comes shining through

Could not agree with you more. Standing yesterday was poor considering the stature of game. Like you say 40% max stood throughout. The chap who said he was on row 6 - if you really want to stand just move to the back of the stand.

Think you should keep your massive generalisations to yourself to be honest Im not saying your a bad fan at all, I've missed 4 and I hold down a full time job, ok not shift work but still, I'm not saying you in particular obviously but I stood and I was row 16, I couldn't give a sh1t when it comes to games like that, I pay for it, selfish I know but I really don't care. We got a few of us to stand and others stood around us because that was the solution to any problems. If this is a problem try moving ?

Why should someone who's followed the team home and away all season miss out because most ST holders have a wife/mate from work/lad from the pub who barely goes but fancies the big day out at Wembley?! For starters you need to get to Wembley, not all people can drive so need a way of getting there e.g Dad/Brother whatever. The Train can be pricey, Fox travel enough said. Secondly who wants to sit on their own. Fans like my uncle who has supported the team for 30 odd years who didn't have a season ticket this year but has had many other years can't go with me.

So it's fair that someone who has been to everyaway game all season, but misses out because all the season tiickets holders want to take a friend with them? But, who cares about those who go to every game so long as the ****** can have their big day out at Wembley.
leicesterseddon Posted 25 April 2010 Posted 25 April 2010 The one ticket per person is a joke. But moving on.. How on earth you've reached that conclusion is beyond me
maddog Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 With the away leg being on a Wednesday night, quite far away in Wales and obviously it will be on the tele so i'm torn as to whether this will make members or general sale or not. Probably will depend on the home leg score, if we win or lose 3-0 maybe then they would make general. Wonder if new STH who haven't been to a single game for the last few seasons will get the same priority for the away leg aswell

I would imagine it will be the same as every other away game this seasom
Ford Super Sunday Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Just realised our second leg away will be on the same day and time as the Europa League Final Nothing bad or anything, just an observation.
Tilley Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Sweet, payday Thursday, will go down the ticket office on my lunch break and get my Cardiff/Forest tickets.

CosbehFox Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Can't argue with any of the arrangements to be honest. The protection is there for those that deserve it and the opening hours are plentiful. Just be typical though that 3,000 priority 1's come out of the woodwork....
Tommeh Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Quest for tickets for both legs starts here then. Not going to lie, slightly aggrieved that I could roll up with 15 away stubs and around 8 homes yet still have a much chance as the next person. But that's life.
Karljohn Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Home leg sales being done by ticketdisaster 2,000 for away leg doesn't sound great....
Shrenchel Posted 26 April 2010 Posted 26 April 2010 Do the clubs not have to give 10% to away fans like any other match? I hope we're not going to give the whole 3k if we're getting fvcked with 2,000.

Really don't think Forest would give us 2k, Cardiff might but I think Forest would give us the full allocation, which is 4k? I might be wrong.
