maddog Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 The club seem to be pretty sure the 2k will sell out before P3, but lets not forget the game is on a Wednesday night, in Wales, and will be on the TV. I thought there were only 1100 P1s and P2s last season, surely that figure hasn't gone up that much, which should mean a few hundred for the P3s to fight over.
SamL Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 i get the logic in offering 1 ticket per person but going to a play off semi final on your own is pretty lame If it's a toss up between going on my own or not going at all, I'd go on my own every time. If you're that bothered about it, don't go. Simple.
Rich Fox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 £1 per booking online £2 on the phone. I think thats what the article on the OS said. Thanks Maybes I will book online.
Katy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Re the away leg, those who have their tickets pre-ordered this season will get them posted to them as usual. That will cut some of the queue down then, depends how many pre-order I guess. As long as you're P1, P2 of course.
AoWW Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 i get the logic in offering 1 ticket per person but going to a play off semi final on your own is pretty lame I imagine there will be others there too. Grow some bollocks - I'm sure you'll cope.
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Definitely going to the play off matches. ... says the fairweather LCFC fan. (Should we get to the Premier League, we'll make you wear a Leicester shirt and have you walk around in the London City Centre for 48 hours, shouting Leicester chants in the process in regular intervals)
Karljohn Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Sorry? Sorry mate, didn't read back what I had put, dunno about the P1 and P2 for this season though.... And yes think it may be an early start for anything that's left for P3 on the away leg, looks like Glasto wont be the first time I will be camping this year after all
Tilley Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 ... says the fairweather LCFC fan. (Should we get to the Premier League, we'll make you wear a Leicester shirt and have you walk around in the London City Centre for 48 hours, shouting Leicester chants in the process in regular intervals) Can I do the above whilst reading one of your match reports and player ratings from the game you listened to on the radio?
Guest Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I'm absolutly serious! I dont really call the 5 minute drive to the stadium travelling. Think what you like but the reality is that my missus goes to a few games each season and I planned on taking her for company. Doing a 200 mile round trip is a bit different to 5 mins down the road. I asked a question and i dont expect or want to hear your 'opinion' either answer the question or dont post. Did it ever occur that the cost (excluding the ticket price) was prohibitive of a wembley visit? Sharing the cost of fuel, parking and anythign els ethat crops up would cause me a problem! Aw diddums....... You're one in an ever growing list wanting extra tickets for their own selfish reasons. The question has already been answered, so anyone else asking the same question is fair game as far as I am concerned. If you can't afford the travel down to London, then you should really be asking yourself if you can afford the cost of the match ticket, if last year's prices are anything to go by. Maybe if you'd taken a gamble earlier in the season, like buying cheap train tickets, or getting the wife a membership (you would have made your money back on the simplest one if you took her to 8 games, or you could have bought the one that gets you two match tickets, that worked out pretty reasonable IIRC) you might be in a better position once we get to Wembley. I sincerely hope the club makes it one ticket per person, just to give all the non-STHs and non-members a fair chance of getting a ticket.
CosbehFox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 The Simple Way for the Wembley Tickets Would be Season Tickets on the Monday + They would be allowed to get one friend ticket for person whose not a member Members Tuesday Fans who have been to 5 or more fixtures this season Wednesday Then General Sale Thursday It Should Cost- Adults: £30 Season Ticket holders Under 18's: £15 Season Ticket holders Adults: £35 Members Under 18's: £18 Members Adults: £40 Normal Sale Under 18's: £20 Explain why st holders should get an additional ticket? And anyone else who has this opinion...please explain. Your version is more twisted by suggesting that being a non member should be rewarded. Also the football league set the prices for the final.
CosbehFox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Do the BBC show a playoff semi final leg Or will they all just be on SKY? And the 2000 allocation hasn't been confirmed yet, it could just be a ploy by the club to prevent a mad crazy 5am P3 rush. Or telling us the lowest possible allocation we could get early to prevent disappointment later, when we could easily end up with 2.5k or 3k. Read back further details of why the allocations are so small are there. By outlining a realistic opinion, they are avoiding folks rolling up on first day of sell arguing the toss. The TO are using last years games at Crewe and Northampton as indicators. I do feel sorry for the folks who as one has mentioned....gone 14 away games this season without a ST and misses out but the rules were there at the start.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I'm not a member or a season ticket holder. It's my own fault I'm too lazy/poor to be either. I have to bite the bullet unless connections come through for me for big games. That's life. Not quite sure why some people in similar situations are so outraged?
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I could easily get wembley tickets due to priority, but as its one ticket per person I may risk it until general so that I can go with me Uncle or Dad.

Its not comic releif so damn right its for selfish reasons! SO not reading through 10 odd pages with total attention calls for sarcastic insults? I doubt it. My exact financial situation is my concern and its exactly the cost of the ticket which is part of the problem. I missed every wembley final last time round due to being to young to travel alone so im damn sure i'm not missing it this time if we get there.

I have to bite the bullet unless connections come through for me for big games. That's life. Not quite sure why some people in similar situations are so outraged? Agreed, although one thing that does alarm me is the size of the allocations, I know that back in 06/07 Derby and Soton both exchanged 4,500 for their away ends. I was sure there was a 10/15% rule and if not I hope we restrict Cardiff/Forest to 2k. Incidently I have 25 away ticket stubs in a frame if any STH fancies upgrading their priority at the last minute! Hate relying on people but I've everything crossed.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Course.. why should i give a crap about anyone else? Its not comic releif so damn right its for selfish reasons! Awesome. If only more of our fans were like you...

I've been to more Leicester games than you've ever been to Highbury/the Emirates. And I've probably seen Leicester play more often this season, too.

If it's any consolation, I don't really give a crap either. As long as I get my ticket, I don't care who I go with. If the game's that important you're not going to miss it, it shouldn't matter whether you go on your own, with the other half or with a coach load of people. If you're prepared to scrape the pennies together for the ticket, budget for the transport as well. Like every other bugger going has to do. If you weren't such a tetchy sod, you might find that meeting a few like-minded people, perhaps off of forums such as this, would come in handy when you're travelling on your own. Quite a few people from this forum have travelled together on FT, the train and even car sharing. Same thing with Talking Balls.
Tilley Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I've probably been to more Leicester games than you've ever been to Highbury/the Emirates. Are we really getting this petty? I can tell you for a fact that you haven't. I have been to more Arsenal games than you have Leicester games and more Leicester games than you have Leicester games. Now lets let everyone talk about the play off tickets, if you'd like some chit chat then feel free to PM me

The Arse suddenly out of the league title, out of the Champs League - oh, how convenient there's another team 'round the corner pushing for promotion... Trittbrettfahrer.
AoWW Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 There's always msn - seeing as how you're so into each other.
Tilley Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Fairweather fan!!! The Arse suddenly out of the league title, out of the Champs League - oh, how convenient there's another team pushing for promotion... I think you are developing an unhealthy obsession with me. As flattering as it is, I honestly do think the rest of the forum would appreciate you taking your obsession elsewhere rather than filling up threads with your nonsense. I thought a mod would understand that
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 There's always msn - seeing as how you're so into each other. Tonight is the night. I'll leave it here - don't want to disturb the neighbours.
