AoWW Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Tonight is the night. I'll leave it here - don't want to disturb the neighbours. Should fooking hope so - the squeaking of those bed springs is really starting to piss me off.
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I think you are developing an unhealthy obsession with me. As flattering as it is, I honestly do think the rest of the forum would appreciate you taking your obsession elsewhere rather than filling up threads with your nonsense. I thought a mod would understand that As I said, I'll leave it here - you're getting onto the wrong track now and reading way too much into it. Very much so. And the rest of the forum can think for themselves. They are actually that smart. And: When the time (read: May) has come, I'll be going Wembley. (See how I got the curve - just?)

Libertine Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I certainly need Tilley to think for me. And I feel all the better for it.

I dunno - seems it's a match made in heaven................ Gemini and Libra:When Gemini meets Libra, Gemini will see a future and perhaps a true romantic connection. Both are air signs and can talk and have sex all night long together. Gemini will love the beauty and social charms of Libra. Gemini will see an “equal” partner and could want to make a relationship with Libra permanent. Libra will see conversation, dinner and great sex in Gemini. This is a promising pair that has the ability to go places together. Gemini will need to focus more on romance to hold on to sexy Libra. Libra will just have to look beautiful and be social which will be easy for them. These two signs should go get a room and see what develops. A long-term love will make both feel very secure in both sex and romance. See what develops, Gemini. Compatibility Rating: Sexual Astrology -
leftsideoverhere Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 I'm absolutly serious! I dont really call the 5 minute drive to the stadium travelling. Think what you like but the reality is that my missus goes to a few games each season and I planned on taking her for company. Doing a 200 mile round trip is a bit different to 5 mins down the road. I asked a question and i dont expect or want to hear your 'opinion' either answer the question or dont post. Did it ever occur that the cost (excluding the ticket price) was prohibitive of a wembley visit? Sharing the cost of fuel, parking and anythign els ethat crops up would cause me a problem! So ask for a lift, or offer one in return for petrol money, or just ask for someone to 'buddy up' with you for the journey, don't ask for the priority system to be changed so that your missus can take the place of someone who's actually interested in the game, just so you're not on your own in the scary big city. I'm not surprised you got hostile answers given that the implication of your 'question' was that you thought one of us should miss out just so you wouldn't be lonely in a crowd of 35,000 people. You can see how that's a bit selfish, I assume?
lcfcadam Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Well, just secured mine and my mate's ST seats for the home-leg online. Pretty painless, though £1 per ticket charge seems a bit cheeky when there's no way of avoiding it...
Aeropars Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Bully for you. If it's any consolation, I don't really give a crap either. As long as I get my ticket, I don't care who I go with. If the game's that important you're not going to miss it, it shouldn't matter whether you go on your own, with the other half or with a coach load of people. If you're prepared to scrape the pennies together for the ticket, budget for the transport as well. Like every other bugger going has to do. If you weren't such a tetchy sod, you might find that meeting a few like-minded people, perhaps off of forums such as this, would come in handy when you're travelling on your own. Quite a few people from this forum have travelled together on FT, the train and even car sharing. Same thing with Talking Balls. I'm not techy however I find it completly out of order for you to throw insults at an innocent question. Because your hiding behind a keyboard give you no right to insult people, especially when you dont know them! what may be said in jest to you, may not be to a total stranger. However, if you want to compare brain spans then be my guest. So ask for a lift, or offer one in return for petrol money, or just ask for someone to 'buddy up' with you for the journey, don't ask for the priority system to be changed so that your missus can take the place of someone who's actually interested in the game, just so you're not on your own in the scary big city. You can see how that's a bit selfish, I assume? I think you'll find I asked a question on the chances of something happening. Never once did I say they should change it. My question was about how I might go about getting 2 tickets! I didnt deserve or expect a torrent of abuse. Perhaps I'm old fashoned and beleive in treating people with respect.
Shrenchel Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Mate give it a rest with all this hiding behind a keyboard bollocks. I was chatting to a lad in the Sumners on Saturday who said he thought ST holders should get two tickets each and I told him where to get off. No one is posting anything they wouldnt say to you in real life if you were openly admitting prioritising slightly easier travel arrangements for yourself over thousands of loyal fans who have been to games throughout the season being able to get a ticket for Wembley.
maddog Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Wow surprised at how easy that was to do online. Logged in and there it was, seat reserved for you for playoff semi. Easy, i'm paranoid into thinking that things like that always go wrong but it didn't. Just hope the ticket gets posted to the right address now

God, I hope this geezer and his armchair mate don't get tickets! You get ONE ticket on your season ticket, this is clear, if you want to go, GO. If you can't face going on your own, sell your ticket to someone who would. Chill out and start getting stupidly excited like me about our first play-off campaign for years!! I've not been more hyped for a couple of games in a long time.

Tilley Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Got my home tickets today. Didn't realise it was only disabled supporters but ticket office was quiet at the time so they let me off.

"What you on about you tosser?" ^^^ Ooh, keyboard Warrior.
Rich Fox Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Got my home tickets today. Didn't realise it was only disabled supporters but ticket office was quiet at the time so they let me off. Got mine online nice and easy just a £1.00 booking fee, if we make the final hope season ticket holders can buy online too better that having to get to the walkers at dawn with 3000 other people.
Sir Fynwy Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Whatever... insult all you like. The fact is i asked a questions and got berrated for it. Retards looking for a fight should look elswhere. ...but the question everyone is asking is will your mum let you out of the house on your own. What reaction did you expect from people who have been going to games regularly when someone asks why they can't deprive one of them of a chance to go to the biggest match of the season?
maddog Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 I rekon there will be a conspiracy for the away leg. Theres no way there are 2000 p1s and p2s, no where near, there were only 1100 last season. So there will be at least 500 tickets left for the P3s i rekon. But then the club will say they have sold out when they haven't, and those tickets will disappear to ticket office workers, friends and family of ticket office workers, staff who work at the club, toffs who work for club sponsors, and the 'crowd' There will be a massive cover up going on, and if discovered will result in your assassination by Stefan Freund, employed by Milan as his personal hitman. He swings his head and takes your head of with his nase.
dimmerchant Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Do you have to have your LCFC account linked to your season ticket? I logged in and there was no option of getting a ticket for the first leg of the play-offs. Any help would be appreciated.
davieG Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Has anyone bought tickets for more than one person online? If I want to buy for 3 people will I have go through the process 3 times or can I select 3 tickets using the reference number? Or worse still does each person wanting a ticket have to register and buy them separately? I fear the worse and it will be this last thought. Oh well may have to take a trip down the TO tomorrow.

As you say, no way there are 2000 P1 and P2, hard to say what the "toff take up" would be for a Wednesday night in South Wales but certainly some logic in your comments Maddog.
