samjohnson Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Will there be some sort of priority system in place for the home playoff game? I'm a ST holder and I'll be ****ing gutted if I miss out cos the fairweather's have come out in full force. I have reason to believe there will be a priority system like away games P1, P2, P3, Members, *THOSE WITH TICKET STUBS FOR THE FINAL 3 HOME GAMES*, then general fairweather supporters. And beings there arent 30,000 STH's... You're pretty much guarrenteed a ticket.
Guest Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Nah, they're just going to throw all the tickets into an expectant crowd and let us fight it out amongst ourselves Surely we could sell the rights to ITV for this

James. Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 I'm a general fair weather supporter? Sweet I've always wanted to be a GFWS. And now samjohnson has made my dream come true.
leftsideoverhere Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Play off kick off times are as follows: Saturday 8th May 2010 12:45 & 17:30 Tuesday 11th May 2010 19:45 Wednesday 12th May 2010 19:45 Yeah, we know. Those times have been posted several times on the site already. But as others have pointed out they are *provisional* arrangements at this stage, and will be dependent upon police agreement once the regular season fixtures are completed. That's why there is a discussion in this thread about whether LCFC would be able to host a home leg on the 8th, given that the Tigers have a fixture that day.
Matt Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Have no choice. Part of the course. Miss this, fail the course. If I could miss it and we were in the play off final id fook it off without a first thought Have a word with yourself! I know what i'd be doing - Education is not everything I nearly had a heart attack last night when I went college and was told my final test was on the Wednesday 19th May, I shit myself thinking it was one of the playoff semi's, and if we missed the test it would be charged to us (The missed test and retake) or fail the course...luckly its not, but if it was, without hesitation i'd pay the fee/fail, simples. Up to you obviously but I don't think I could live with myself if I missed it should we get there.

There's always next year to support City but having to spend another year of your youth doing the same shit isn't worth it.

There was abit of meaning in it from me - Me personally, I'd fuck college off but thats me.

You mean the club would dispense with the tried and tested system of "STHs have until such and such a date to buy their tickets, after which all seats are on general sale"?

Wo wo wo, i'll have no priority but that's because I travel from Plymouth for every game and therefore haven't the time & money to attend regularly. I may only go to 7,8 games a season now (used to live in Leic) but add petrol costs and it's probably close to ST price. Don't call me fairweather
Anstey Fox Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Yeah, we know. Those times have been posted several times on the site already. Tigers game is last day of the rugby regular season and will have to go ahead at 15:00, the same as all of the other games on that day. Sky wil do everything they can to ensure a possible game at Filbert Way takes placed at 12:45 or 17:30. But if we finish 4th. then we will be away on this day.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 so do 6th and 5th play the first leg at home? Yus, thus giving 3rd and 4th the reward of having a home tie in the second leg, to let the atmosphere (not that it'd make any difference to Cardiff City) bring them home. Not that it made any difference in 1993 or 1996 anyway

Matt Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 Definitely going to the play off matches. Glory Hunter.
The Doctor Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 what allocation do teams generally get at wembley (taking into account the empty prawn sandwich brigade seats)? i'll die if i can't go but i almost always buy tickets at the gate so i'll certainly have no kind of priority I'm pretty sure its around 25-30K. Wembley seats 90K but a % of that oges to toffs who donated monies to the FA at some point + the multiple sponsors of the division/competition. Whatevers left is split 50/50 between the two clubs
Karljohn Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 Got those Club Wembley seats aswell to consider, don't think the toffs have too much these days, I was in Englandfans away and it kicked off around the Germany 06 world cup about the "football family" and I am sure the FA agreed to reduce the prawn sandwich allocation for these sort of finals. Would expect to get 30k + Anyone remember going to Wembley v Blackburn in 92 and us taking 44,000 and Blackburn taking 12,000!!!
Ultra Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 It won't be that simple, Sky will have a massive say in the matter and as it is play-off semis I think the tigers/city not playing on the same day would be lifted. BUT if it is Forest then it will be diffrent yet again. Quite the reverse. Tigers are guaranteed a sell-out crowd, and I imagine we'd be close to one ourselves. There's no way the safety advisory group (council/police/fire/ambulance) will allow 55000 fans into the city on the same day, whatever Sky might wish. So the most likely kickoff date and time would be Sunday 9th at 12 noon.

Tilley Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 Glory Hunter. Bit of excitement, don't mind parting with cash for that.
Ashley Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 IF(that little word with a big meaning) we get to Wembley we should get around 36/38,000 - 43,000 tickets.

The only real slots on that Sunday would be the 12pm, which I think is unlikely, or 6pm, which is more feasable They might well move us to Friday, remains to be seen.
