BrummieFOX Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 They wont be on sale until after the last game of the season? Details have yet to be released. You seem to be confusing the home leg ticket selling details with the away leg? Cheers mate, did think that but this is the text from the OS... "Please note, we expect that only 2000 tickets will be available for the AWAY leg, regardless of our opposition. With this in mind, supporters are advised in advance that sales are unlikely to reach Priority 3, therefore only those supporters who attended a minimum of eight away games last season, which has been registered on the Ticketing System, are likely to be eligible for tickets. It is envisaged that Priority 1 Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase, in person, from the Main Ticket Office only, on THURSDAY MAY 6. Priority 2 Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase, in person, from the Main Ticket Office only, on FRIDAY MAY 7." Hoping that the 'Play-off hotline' is used for the away leg as well. Anyone else travelling from Brum??
maddog Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 To anyone concerned about getting a ticket for the home leg, why don't you just buy a season ticket, use it to get to the home leg then a few weeks/months down the line just return the season ticket for a refund before the season starts I was told i could do that as unsure of where i will be come the season. Buy one, go to playoff, return it, refund,
davieG Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 How does one become part of this crowd!! I thought you'd know being one of the big nobs.

Anyone else travelling from Brum?? That's a worry, they never seem to have that or log it when you buy tickets, even when I take the stubs in to have the card marked there's no sign of them logging it on their system. Last time I called them they reckoned I was P3 when I have my yellow card saying P2.

BrummieFOX Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Exactly my thoughts. Yea, worried about this also. Though I have never officially proven my Priority and always presumed they would have my away record on the system. I've never missed out on tickets by emailing the day it goes on sale to P1. I'm hoping I'll be safe for the play-offs aswell. Can someone please confirm though that you can only purchase tickets for the away-leg from the ticket office and not over phone??

Yeah, that's pretty much what they've said, or they'd have mentioned you could do it by phone, surely? I think I'll probably turn up with my season ticket, priority card, and ticket stubs. Just so I have ultimate proof.
Dr The Singh Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I thought you'd know being one of the big nobs. My penis size has never got into such an exclusive place, you must be mistaken me with someone else!!!

There's no chance I'd be able to get to the ticket office on a midweek day due to work. Why they don't keep this hotline for the away tickets as well I don't know! There's only supposedly 2,000 tickets to shift!

davieG Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 **delete That might indicate that if all ST holders, old and new and Members take up their allocation that would be a sell out as in 15k ST + 15K Members. Not that they all will with it being on the Tele but they have to assume so if they are guaranteeing a ticket for ST holders and members. Just a thought. Great I've just responded to a 'delete'

Ford Super Sunday Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 How chocka is it gonna be Thursday morning? I can understand people Qing on the day for P3 away leg tickets, and I'm one of the worst for worrying and getting there early to make sure I get my ticket, but surely there's no need for season ticket holders to start lining up at 8am for a ticket which they are guaranteed?
Tilley Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Jesus Christ, people are seriously moaning about only getting 1 per ticket?!
RowlattsFox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Times like these that I'm happy to be a steward Guaranteed ticket for the home leg for me. Me attending the away leg was a long shot anyway but i'm pretty certain I have no chance now.

PAULCFC Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 So what happens if this seasons STH like me get the seat i've sat in all season taken by next seasons STH first who may not have been to a game all season, but because they've crawled out of the woodwork then can now effectively have my seat because i haven't renewed for next season It's going to be like a race. If and it's a big if someones taken your seat,i'm sure they'd find you somewhere else.Would be a bit of a pisser 'cause it's still not next season yet

WardyisPukka Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 i get the logic in offering 1 ticket per person but going to a play off semi final on your own is pretty lame
