marbelladave Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Now now, Dave, you know that's not relevant. (Just for clarification, I'm being a wee bit cheeky). You and I know that... I just thought I would get in first before someone started a thread...
Sir Fynwy Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Sharing 'insider information' with fellow fans is one thing, using it as a stick to beat those less well informed is something quite different. Sarky and and cynical put downs of people with alternative and different views is sadly all too common on this forum. It's swings and roundabouts, people offer information and get attacked for it so they hit back at those who keep posting drivel. It is a public service to point out to an idiot that he is an idiot.

Guest Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 You and I know that... I just thought I would get in first before someone started a thread... There aren't enough threads about it, to be honest.
Sir Fynwy Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Because of course, you are superior... Not saying that at all, I can be an idiot like anyone (except you obviously ) but people who have a go at insiders trying to inform people aren't helpful. PS. I have no insider knowledge of what goes on at the club and if I did have I'd not post it based on the crap people get on here.
Nick Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 I'm afraid you didn't. You said "maybe" to stopping him playing in the Play-Offs. Then that you "wouldn't recall him". Have I gone blind? I note that the terms of our loan prevented him from playing against us on February 6th so it would be reasonable to think that if we were to face Blackpool in the Play-Offs then he couldn't play against us on that occasion. I would consider re-calling him for the play-offs yes. I would not re-call him 'now' even if we could Hope that clarifies my position.
Nick Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Interestingly the factions on this forum have some parallels to the devisiveness that exists within our support on the 'terraces'. The superior attitudes of some of our supporters is counter productive, surely we should be united in our support for the club rather than arguing among ourselves as to which form of support is superior? (Sorry, bit of a thread 'crossover' there... ) Message to Nick. Just because a point is well argued does not make it correct in the first place. but on this occasion, (acetic) acid tongue apart, she is. Thanks for explaining that to me Dave.
Nick Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Because of course, you are superior... Dave - you sound daft now, if you knew the man you wouldn't write this crap.
unreachable Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 From the Leicester Mercury - although not necessarily accurate! http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/sport/city-fans-judas/article-1982949-detail/article.html "Campbell, though, would not be eligible to play against City if the teams met in the play-offs. He was ruled out of appearing in the league game at Bloomfield Road back in February."
lovelcfc Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 I think hes a good player. hes never really had a run in the side but he dont want to stay here
marbelladave Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Thanks for explaining that to me Dave. No problem, always happy to help out a fellow foxes fan. As a moderately big time bullshitter I was speaking from personal experience...
marbelladave Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Dave - you sound daft now, if you knew the man you wouldn't write this crap. Once again put down for not being part of the 'clique' not being party to inside information such as personally 'knowing' the man in question... You really don't get it do you?
Sir Fynwy Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Once again put down for not being part of the 'clique' not being party to inside information such as personally 'knowing' the man in question... You really don't get it do you? Paranoia is a terrible burden.
marbelladave Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Paranoia is a terrible burden. Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me........ Seriously though, your only response is yet another attempted putdown.

Sarky and and cynical put downs of people with alternative and different views is sadly all too common on this forum. the reason people get those responses is because they continually tell the people with insider info that they don't know what they are talking about, I don't mean when giving a personal opinion, but people such as Lisa have stated many, MANY times that Campbell cannot be recalled, yet people still say we should or try to make out they are idiots by saying we can't

Inform and correct by all means but name calling...no!
marbelladave Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Seriously though, it's not. If it is not a putdown, does that make you my pshrink? Will I get a bill in the post?
Guest Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Once again put down for not being part of the 'clique' not being party to inside information such as personally 'knowing' the man in question... You really don't get it do you? Back to being slightly serious, I don't get this kind of attitude. Ok, some of us know each other in real life, so what? It's not a secret where we drink before home games, and everybody is welcome to join us. We are (believe it or not) a friendly bunch; we drink, we have a bit of banter. In fact, if I remember correctly, wasn't there an express invitation to you to join us, several months ago, which you declined? There is no "clique" at all. As for putting you down for not being part of it, I don't think you have. All Nick has said is that you don't know Sir Fynwy. That is a statement of fact.
Babylon Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 People with similar taste and opinions becomes friends... what a shocker.
