SMX11 Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Is everyone stupid? Pearson has said before he can't be recalled. Lets just concentrate on our own games, DJ is shit anyway.
Nick Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Clem has been being paid by insurance, how does him retiring free up a single penny for city? I don't see why we just don't re-call him.
Webbo Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Clem has been being paid by insurance, how does him retiring free up a single penny for city? I'm only guessing but I'd have thought that with players wages being so enormous and the likelihood of injury so common that the insurance premiums would be too impractically high to be worthwhile bothering with.

I like your thinking.... Can we apply it to me driving 'supercars' each day please?
Nick Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 I'm thinking outside of the box here, but why stop at Dudley Junior? Why not stop all of our rivals strikers from playing? There is a very good chance one or more is going to score in the next four games, I say we nip it in the bud now. Won't we get into trouble for doing that... It seems easier though to sort the DJ problem out though as we could just re-call him.
Blue Bob Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Why does anyone care about DJ? Blackpool have Newcastle, Forest and Bristol to play in their last 4 games - they have got more than enough problems to worry about. We have got Peterborough, Watford and preston ..... If we concentrate and these games we will be more than comfortable. DJ is not going to get much joy out of those three teams. Hopefully they fall in love with DJ and take him off our hands in the summer. Leave him where he is!!
Daggers Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 We should recall all players who played for us over the last four-five seasons in case they do something to help another side. As a bonus, having the largest squad in the world would get us into the Guinness Book of Records and confirm us as the singlemost massive club in the history of big clubs.
filbertway Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 If by recalling Campbell and letting him sit in the reserves it helped take away some of Blackpool's goal scoring threat and helped us secure a play off spot. I'm sure the gate receipts from the extra play off game would pretty much cover the cost of having him hear for a month. I wouldn't say it's the most ridiculous idea to want to try and blunt a play off rivals attacking threat, but I'm happy to hear the reasons for wanting him to continue at blackpool.

Because he's OUR FOOKING PLAYER I don't think you understand that he is under contract with LEICESTER. So why the fook would you help someone else get to the playoffs ?!!! If his goals get Blackpool to the playoffs instead of us. I hope you go and support Blackpool instead.

Under contract to Leicester but wasn't someone at Leicester the fool for contracting him out to Blackpool. That's where the problem lies.
Jimmy Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Clem has been being paid by insurance, how does him retiring free up a single penny for city? yes the insurance would of been paying him but we still would of had to budget for his wages just in case he was able to recover so it does technically free up some money, even if it has already been spent

I hope a lot of things for you, but I wouldn't like to go into detail, not before the watershed. If Dudley Junior doesn't score them, someone else will. We have to go out there and win our games. If you want to spend your time worrying about everybody else, fine. I have better things to do with my time. Something that nobody is keen to answer: would you all be this worked up if City had sold Dudley to Blackpool? After all, what a stupid bit of business that would be if we went around selling off our squad to our rivals. Finally, he may be "OUR FOOKING PLAYER", but HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE OUR PLAYER. If loaning him out means we free up money to spend elsewhere, isn't that better for helping City in actually winning games and getting into the play offs on our own merit? Not worrying about someone else to balls up? If you're going to blame anyone, blame the numpty who gave him a deal that has meant nobody can afford to buy him off of us.

I completely disagree with the highlighted bit. There no certainty that somebody else will score goals for them if DJ isn't playing.
The Doctor Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 I completely disagree with the highlighted bit. There no certainty that somebody else will score goals for them if DJ isn't playing. Adams has scored 5 while djs been there Dobbie & Omerod 4 Burgess 2 Taylor-fletcher & evatt 1 hardly struggling to score apart from campbell are they?
Asha Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 As others have said, if we had recalled DJ then perhaps we wouldn't have James Vaughn. I would much rather have Vaughn anyday. He has shown glimpses of real premiership class. Has he? I agree with your view but he's hardly shown 'real premiership class'.
CupidStunt Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 i'd try and recall him...........make him clean the trophy cabinet, ready for our new PLAY-OFF CUP FINAL TROPHY, the one that is inscribed with the scoreline Leicester 12-forest 0

Do we get to keep waghorn and Weale for the play offs?
CupidStunt Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Definately agreed!! Do we get to keep waghorn and Weale for the play offs? waghorn, dont see why not as for weale, he's a leicester player, so yes

Daggers Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 So what you're saying is that Blackpool wouldn't be where they are without Campbell? Madness. No one else in the squad is able to find the net...
Blanesta Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 its a shame we cant do what happened to us with mark davis last season, take him back and tell em nothin
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 So he got lucky in a couple of games... big deal
dpjfox Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Blackpool are a one-man team and it aint DJ!, when Adam leaves in the summer (ive heard Bolton or Everton) they will be fecked , so will Ollie thats sour grapes from a Leicester fan living in Blackpool
Dylan Posted 7 April 2010 Author Posted 7 April 2010 Was looking at the Swansea forum, and they're wondering why they loaned Dobbie to Blackpool.
