I think you lot read to much into a flare. I doubt anyone would have batted an eyelid when the word flare was mentioned. Obviously as it's a hotly debated topic on here you lot seem to think others will all of a sudden have a negative outlook of the group. I doubt it very much.

We have a meeting with the club 10am monday morning

even if they so no to our flags then we wont stop till they allow it

other clubs are allowed them so why wouldnt leicester fans?

it'll be easier for them to say and let us get on with it, instead of having us chasing them up everyday

we'll hopefully annoy them into letting us

but we wont know till monday

Did this not raise the alarm?

annoying the club into letting them do what they want?

It doesn't really matter what us fans think of a flare Edmund, it's what the club, the stewards and the police think and we all know they won't tolerate flares in the stadium.

I am sure Stringer knows exactly who they are. Wonder if he has tried to do the club a favour in return for better access this season by a few negative comments about the group. A bit of negative media spin and the group is over before it starts. The 'Fosse Boys' may have to find something else to take up their time. Perhaps they should try getting a girlfriend. :)

Can't someone just twitter Stringer and tell him the score!

group of fans wanting to bring a continental atmosphere to the the ground club would rather it stayed as a library and weren't very helpful

I agree with this, try to get him on your side instead of people calling him a willy puller etc. Isn't it better that he explains what you guys are trying to do to the masses. It can only help your cause, calling these guys names won't. As mentioned by many these commentators read this website.

For me the flare situation doesn't bother me, it's the attitude of them.

Ian Stringer? He is refreshing, he doesn't sit there and call the game like a robot, he actually chats about random stuff when the game has gone a bit stale and makes it funny at times.

Maybe we've been around long enough to know that if someone is intent on stopping something then they'll spin any small negative into a much bigger one. Do you not follow the news and media to see how they interpret events.

If LCFC/Barclay have intent to smother this initiative any negative doesn't even need to be real for them to use it as ammunition.

Plenty of the interpretation of the Taylor report into Hillsboro' still puts it across as the result of fans standing.

I take it you didn't listen to Barber very often? :dunno:

By saying such things your not helping these guys. He's going to tarnish everybody with the same brush... I thought his comments at HT were quite positive. By getting Stringer on the side of the Fosse Boys can only be good PR

I Am here we were not asked to sit down I. The first half and nobody had a flare or had a flare taken off us. Mr stringer I hope you are ready for a formal complaint to radio Leicester

i have no affiliation with them so i don't see why anything i say about him should be of any detriment to them. also, if he gets upset by what people say on the internet (especially by someone with the username poopbutt), then he needs to find a new profession (or stop being a willy puller).

he didn't actually state that anyone had tried to take flares into the ground, or that flares had been confiscated. Just said No to Flares and yes to Flags nothing more really

Unless i'm going mental I definitely heard him say that they turned up to the ground with a flare/flares.

what I heard was something along the lines of they are a fans group that wanted to have flares and flags the club said no to the flares but yes to the flags then some waffle about them being Portuguese.

I don't think he specifically said they turned up with flares, may be wrong
