see, you're at it again, you seem to just be looking for confrontation... can't you recognise that this thread isn't about you trying to prove that you know better than everybody else, starting pointless debates about non-fosse boys stuff.

there's two pages worth of stuff based on

this is a thread to organise the fosse boys, of course people will respond because they get pissed of with people posting negative dismissive crap throughout the thread, who gives a fook about the majority of fans, if you want to discuss them start a thread for people who want a library-like walkers.

oh and

that reads to me like you're trying to rub the fosse boys up the wrong way, some second hand my-mate-says negativity, which turned out to be misreported anyway.

why don't you just leave them to it

now i'm going to practice what i preach and stop cluttering this thread up any further with off topic posts.

You say that I'm being obtuse and deliberately rubbing people up the wrong way (I'm genuinely not - I'm either giving my genuine opinion or trying to look at things from all perspectives) and then when I ask you to tell me how you say that I'm being confrontational lol

I'm not reading the rest of your post because in any case it'll be like trying to talk to a brick wall and for the sake of everyone on this thread i'll just go out instead.

Have a pleasant evening

To be honest I just needed to get my post count over 1,000 so I can change my text and the 'what are you listening to now' thread has lost all appeal

Did you get banned for just constantly telling people to shut up / fuck off, etc? Perhaps you need to work on broadening your range of conversation a little? :dunno:

And another thing

i have to say my day was made when walking around the ground after the game hearing a kid with his dad singing our viva leicester song

after the meeting with the club i was pretty down hearted by all of this and seriously wanted to just give up

and that one kid made everything worth while

its difficult when the worlds against you, giving up is the last option. theres no reason why we cant transform the KOP to what L1 is.

i got banned with my last user name because of someone like you. will you kindly fook off

huh?

i don't understand, i'm just trying to help keep the doubters at bay?

i've supportde and followed the fosse boys, i'm a member at the website and have posted only positive or constructive things and some motivational videos, i don't think arab or AFIE (can't remember your new name) want me to fook off....

if this is how you react to a pro-fosse boys poster, hten maybe it was your aggressive posting that got you banned.

jeez.

We may not see eye to eye but to be fair I have no idea why this post would be aimed at you

I am not one for chanting all the time during games, I will do the odd one here and there, but I like the idea of creating more atmos in the stadium, so for me this is a quality idea. For the first half of the sunderland match, sitting where I was, slightly down and to the left of the main group, it was brilliant! Even just a few people singing improved the atmosphere by 100x. The viva Leicester chant, while repetitive, is better than the silence that usually pervades the stadium. However, the only thing that did annoy me about the experience, was the Shhhh'ing of the other fans whenever anything worth cheering happened. I cannot claim to be an expert on this thread or what has occured over the course of it, but a few people have posted that the sitting down and staying quiet in the second half was to show the club that the group could behave. To me the Shhh'ing was childish and unnecessary, and surely counter-productive to getting people involved. I realise you can't exactly hear it over a whole stands length, but I can imagine there were more than a few people, me included, that would think twice about standing up and chanting alongside people who would sush their fellow fans.

Would just like to first of all say that I was completely flattered and absolutely humbled by the efforts of the Fosse Boys to get me to the game this afternoon..:P What a giant bunch of heros.

Anyway, onto the game, it was like Continental SK1 for the Swansea FA Cup home game last season but on a larger scale, and I don't think anybody involved had a bad experience. The first half was truly enjoyable and one of the best home-supporting experiences I've had at the Walkers.

The second half was a result of what was said at half-time by one of the most sound, down-to-earth, common-sense stewards I have ever encountered. To be fair, I couldn't speak highly enough of him. Barclay wanted everyone sat down more in the second half if he was going to even contemplate getting on side, so we did what he wanted; give-and-take between the group and the club if ever evidence of it was needed.

We didn't find out about the rumour of what was said on the radio until the 80th minute, so that had nothing to do whatsoever with what happened with us second half. Although, as soon as we did find out about it, we all decided to walk out on the game in protest at what we knew - as did the stewards and everybody in the control tower overseeing matchday security - were unnecessary, unhelpful, nonsensical untruths. Neither Kevin - as much as I personally dislike him - nor the stewards had seen nor heard of anything to do with flares all game, and it was highly frustrating the group was portrayed in this way.

However, despite that negative false press, I feel it was a very successful day and it was a great effort on the group's first outing. Certainly will go from strength to strength if it continues in that vein.

Played boys today, and thanks a fcking bunch for getting me to the game!:scarf::beer:

ALSO: Would just like to add that I was delighted to bump into Fez, 'teh and Lou after the game. Was an absolute pleasure as always.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it and it went well on all levels.

I've heard nothing but praise for the steward in question yesterday and this bodes well for their treatment of their group in the forthcoming season. I'm optimistic that this can go very, very well and our club will have one of the finest Ultra groups in the country sooner rather than later.

Hope to see you join us for a few games mate, it'll be great to have you on board.

Definitely think the idea to show a bit of give and take was a good idea. Sounds like everything went pretty well, congratulations to everyone.

lol at all the in-game speculation. That's a good ten minutes of my life I'll never get back. Reckon I need to brush up on my lingua portuguesa though...

Anyway, thought yesterday was fantastic. Everyone up for it, jumping and singing, proudly waving the banner. How it should be. Pride in your colours and supporting your team non-stop.

I thought everyone conducted themselves with great aplomb, and for my money the silent protest in the second half showed just as much what we can do as our first half actions did. Plenty of people looking over their shoulder wondering where the atmosphere had gone. It's these kind of things that make people start to ask questions about what they're getting out of going to football, which I think fans should do much more in this country.

I also want to commend the stewards (particularly the guy called Mark) for a great common sense approach to what we were doing. Respect the supporters and in turn they'll respect you. It's not rocket science. Hopefully those at the club above their station will also see it the same way.

Was nice to meet all the new faces and I think we have a good core to push forward and hopefully grow in numbers over the coming weeks, months and years.

NO AL CALCIO MODERNO.

Just a few words to offer my support...

Back at the dawn of time I sang and shouted myself hoarse for City for many seasons and It is great to see such passionate support continue.

As an older and more conservative supporter these days I only hope that you can establish the Ultras in your own part of the ground (the Kop?) so that you minimise friction with those supporters who do not share your ethos but continue to have fun and make some noise.

As someone who remembers Filbert Street with 40,000 + inside I think that your attempts to generate some atmosphere into the mausoleum that is the Walkers is brilliant, good luck to you all!

I'm probably from the same era as you, Dave (I'm 51). If the Fosse Boys get this going then it will be bleeding superb....and I've no doubt they will. :appl:

As well as thanking everyone getting involved, I think we also need to respect the huge part that those supporting the group from outside play in this. It's great to hear positive feedback from old school Kopites who, while maybe not necessarily aware of the culture or mentality of Ultras groups, are receptive to the idea of a better atmosphere in the ground.

Well done to everyone involved yesterday, from what i've read it sounds all positive and a good first outing. So excited about joining you lot next time round :) this is only going to get better.
