EDIT

hey guys, think you miss understood me, im not having ago at sky for the coverage of this season, im having ago at the tv programe about the play offs, all the teams had been mentioned but us. Thats my problem. Not the coverag of this season, the show was about past play offs and we were hardly in it.

Personally not bothered at all about the level of coverage Leicester get. The more we stay under the radar the easier it is for us to keep hold of our best players. Plus the media can be a good ally when times are good but its the biggest cvnt in the world when things go wrong.

TBF think Sky have treated us pretty well this season, we must have been up there with Newcastle this season for game coverage, we had a fair few (Not even including the playoff semi-finals.).

Never been bothered with our coverage or lack of. As C-Man said, the press will be your best pals when things are going well, but the moment our form starts nosediving they will be the biggest cunts known to man.

Rather they fucked off and cover Forest or Cov more. I wouldn't mind that at all.

Up there yes but i'd be surprised if Newcastle haven't been on TV atleast 3x more than what we have. It certainly feels that way.

And they probably have about 3x as many fans as us.

Yeah they beat us and the rest of clubs in the Championship hands down, infact I bet they gave Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal a run for their money, but we we've certainly been covered alot this season and must have been one of the teams more covered in the Championship this season? :dunno:

I'm guessing if i'm honest but we do seemed to have been covered a fair few times.

Only problem i have with Sky is the way they keep you waiting on the phone, slowly bleeding money out of you.

is the correct answer.

You pay the Murdoch tax, you watch the warm diarrhea they spoon-feed you.

is for the bonus mark.

Not if you phone them on 0800 0466 432 (freephone). They never give this number out for obvious reasons, but I always use it if I need to contact Sky. Just ask to be transferred if you want to speak to a different department.

Also have you ever gone on line to this site? www.saynoto0870.com This site gives you standard rate, & freephone numbers for companies that use 0870, 0845, 0844, premium rate numbers.

The less we're on TV the better in my opinion.

Might get a few more down to the games then ;)

note: this post is not valid for play-off away legs you couldn't get a ticket for before anyone picks me up on it

As an aside, I just accidentally pulled a hair out of my nose while having a good pick.

One of those ones that makes your eyes water a bit? Hate that.

Sky Sports pictures with 5Live commentary is the only way to go.

Jamie Redknapp and Andy Gray do my nut in.

It's not just sky who seem to have a problem with us, the bbc are equally as bad. Just as an example, when we beat s****horpe this season 5-1, whats on the front page of the bbc championship website, Newcastle scraping a 1-0 at home, all we got was a tiny link at the bottom of the page. Same with the play off run as well, Loads of coverage on forest, nothing on us.

We've made some enemies in the media thats for sure, not sure why but were detested everywhere else in the country as far as papers and that go, even the Leicester mercury throw the occasional slanderous story at us.

Believe it or not, a lot of people in the business are still very bitter about us going into administration, and not getting a points reduction for it, even though it happened 7 years ago.

I agree it would be nice to get some recognition when were doing well, but it dosnt really matter that much in the bigger picture.

the points deduction didn't even exist when we went into admin though.

People aren't seriously still annoyed by the administration lark are they? There was no such thing as a points deduction back then as far as I can remember. Neil Warnock soiled himself because we got promoted and he wanted us to stay in Division 1 as punishment or something didn't he? He's the only person I can remember being openly annoyed by the whole thing.

I seriously doubt people are still holding a grudge though, I mean why would the papers care, it's all about today with them.

no it was created due to Colin's whinging about us being in admin so the football league called a meeting about it and the introduction of point deductions was the outcome. IIRC we were out of admin by the time that meeting was called anyway.

He's the only person open publically to the media, but out of the the 72 Football League clubs only 2 (Us and Bradford) voted against a point deduction being put in place. I doubt many people are still holding a grudge because so many teams are now hitting trouble but what goes around comes around at the end of the day they voted for the points deduction didn't they?!

why get so worked up about it sky is shit and do not understand the playoffs went back to the late 80s

Sky do my nut. They act like we haven't done anything good in the play offs. Yeah, only LAST second goal to the premier league... Twice. Sky news is biased towards labour, but that's going off topic. I do have sky HD aswell :)
