Ozwin Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 I've seen it mentioned a couple of times on here now and nobody has actually quoted him or anything.
Benji Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 I take it you mean the general dislike shown towards him? I don't know about everyone else, and I haven't read anything he said to or about us, but I hate his onfield antics. He reminds me of Bellamy and is probably worse than Dickov, on the floor every two seconds, diving, shouting at the ref, asking for players to get booked, and being a general cock. No need when I think he's a quality player. Didn't he also say we deserved to lose because of the way Kermogrant took the penalty, which was quite a pointless comment to make and completely disregarded the fact they were out of the game until his offside penalty?
Ultra Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Chopra post-semi interview Listen to it all the way through. He's not exactly complimentary.

Oh yeah, Chopra's on field antics are some of the worst in football, he's a right scumbag. I've just seen a few posts mention 'what he said about us' and I couldn't find anything on BBC or Sky Sports. Cheers Ultra, I'll give that a listen.
msc_lcfc Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Every time cardiff were on attack in that second playoff match either him or bothroyd were tripping on invisible shoes to the ground and pleading to the refs for a foul call.
Houdini Logic Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Leicester deserved it because of their sdu...studipi...spudit.... stupidity
Ozwin Posted 23 May 2010 Author Posted 23 May 2010 Chopra post-semi interview Listen to it all the way through. He's not exactly complimentary. What a nobhead, he thought Cardiff were already in the Prem.
thenibbs Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Michael Chopra = willy puller. They got wat they deserved They acted like they won the playoffs after the game.
Fox92 Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Although they are both good players with fantastic movement, I dislike both Chopra and Bothroyd. They both cheat non stop, asking the referee all the time. Watching the highlights, I even saw Chopra say to the ref 'who's there number 25?', wanting Hobbs booked. Chopra should have been booked for that kick thing on Wellens, but instead didn't even get a talking to. And for a big man, Bothroyd is on the floor all the time. Yet, he still commits foul after foul and doesn't get booked.
purpleronnie Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Maybe the dislike 'some' leicester fans have with him is he pretty much knocked us out of the play offs. The bitterest pill is hard to swallow... the end.
morris1234 Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 yes hes an arse,but.................... would you complain if he was in your team? i mean he is a pain in the arse for defenders, and when you have the likes of whittingham feeding off your dives it isnt such a bad idea (from a cardiff point of view) im not saying i condone it by any means but it happens in football whether we discuss it or not. Hypocritical, perhaps but id only ever support such behaviour if he was our player and i have a funny feeling there arent many supporters who would ridicule pearson if we signed him (not going to happen by the way, yes im looking at you maddog!!) Also, had we got through to the final, would we even be discussing this???

Tilley Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Didn't he just say Kermorgant was stupid for trying that in such a big game so he had no sympathy for us? Pretty much bang on really.....

Corky Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Maybe the dislike 'some' leicester fans have with him is he pretty much knocked us out of the play offs. The bitterest pill is hard to swallow... the end. Whittingham played a bigger role in knocking us out.
BoneDog Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 I think many folk thought Chopra was a bit of a twat way before the play-offs even started. Good striker but a bit of a twat.
purpleronnie Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Whittingham played a bigger role in knocking us out. Yep, him and chopra were 2 of the best players, I'm sure if chopra had 2 bad games even if we still got knocked out no-one would care about chopra.
Brainy Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Didn't he just say Kermorgant was stupid for trying that in such a big game so he had no sympathy for us? Pretty much bang on really..... He was taking his penalty in the same way he has taken most of his penalties back in France. Not stupid doing what he's 'best' at, just didn't work out for him that night.
Rich_Sheffield Posted 25 May 2010 Posted 25 May 2010 TBF chopra is a total douche..... however if he signed for Leicester next year i would be happy. He is a great player (dare i say better than Waghorn?)
