Would be a miraculous result if Algeria managed to hold us and neither Slovenia or USA looked particularly good so I can see them pair cancelling each other out.

If, as is perfectly possible, we beat Algeria and Slovenia by a greater margin than the Americans manage, we win the group on goal difference. Potentially we need only match their results to get back on track. The game today showed that Algeria and Slovenia are unlikely to be much of a threat to either of us so we need to stop panicking about the group. What is it about England fans and hyperbole? We're either the best team in the world or the worst depending on how each game has gone!

Thing is a majority of the time when we're shit, we're really shit and frustrating to watch but when it clicks and we play well, we do look very good, I can't say many England games I watch are neither world class or shit - usually one or the other.
