Fox You Forest Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Some of the defending is laughable, actually most of it.
MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 BANG. You can smoke the England back four through a pipe. What are the odds on an England 4-2 win? EDIT: UP-son.
Mee Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 We need the width. It's not there today, Milner just had a quick burst down the right and nearly a goal for Lampard. Are there hearts in it? YYYYYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS@!@!@!@!
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 I hate all this arrogant "which of their players would you swap for ours" shit. You've got a core of Rooney, Lampard and Gerrard who are admittedly very good - they and Ashley Cole perhaps. But it's not like England have world class talent in every position. Germany are creative, fast, deft, inspired. Gerrard and Lampard might be better than they're playing now for their clubs but they don't play with the zest Germany are doing in the apparently wonderful Premier League, either. Germany are just a damn good team these days and England aren't their betters.
BoneDog Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Daylight ****ing robbery. How can anyone in the ground not see that?
MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 You was robbed - revenge for 1966? That was clearly behind the goal-line... I can already see the headlines tomorrow.
Finnegan Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 lol lol Millions of Germans scream 'justice.' Oh the irony!
Mee Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Daylight ****ing robbery. How can anyone in the ground not see that? Exactly! This means something to them now.
MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 England have finally woken up - only took them like 35 minutes. Some teams manage to score twice in that period.
Edmund Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Just as I was about to say they've bottled it again they've seen to have woken up since going down by two. I guess it's a case of no pressure as it looked as if the game was already lost. Up until the last five mins or so germany have been spanking us, classy football and two great finishes. That was shocking reffing though.
Edmund Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 It'll be interesting to see how many people on here change their minds about goal line technology. If I remember correctly most were against.
Narborough_fox Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Could work in football's favour, I mean surely with FIFA World Cup 2010 and no sort of technology and possibly the biggest game of the World Cup finals (minus the final) and a goal a yard over the line to potentially take a team back into a game and into the Quarter-Final's not given it surly mean UEFA and FIFA have to do something to sort it out NOW.

Narborough_fox Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 I meant in rivalry, only Argies - Brazil could get bigger.
Edmund Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 I meant in rivalry, only Argies - Brazil could get bigger. Germany - Holland is a bigger rivalry than Germany - England
