Finchy Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 I'm gonna put £10 on Dowie so if it does happen I'll feel a little better.
MPH Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 I doubt even Mandaric would go back to someone a 2nd time. Redknapp @ portsmouth ?
Jimothy Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 One of Howe O'Driscoll Robins Adkins Or obviously Chris Powell.
Lillehamring Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 i've had a cheeky vote for robins, he seems like a manager that has actually worked his way up, rather than chancers like southgate, dowie and coleman who just happened to be in the right place at the right times. i can't see it being megson, MM wasn't exactly pleased about his behaviour when he left.
Mack Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 We have had enough apprentices and journeymen Managers for now. What we need is a man who has recent Championship history at the sharp end and has delivered the goods. Ian Holloway! hahahahahaahahahahahaha Seriously I would opt for Mowbray or Curbishley.
adamkhalifa Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 I think the poll should have MM on there. Perhaps this would explain the 'other' votes. How did Dowie get 2 votes? This guy has not shown any managerial quality. I've got an idea, why don't MM just take the freakin job.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 1. Sousa 2. Mowbray 3. O'Driscoll 4. Magilton 5. Southgate
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 How about Danny Wilson? Interesting shout, wealth of experience and appears to have a pretty decent scouting net work. Calmed down a bit too since those terrible Sheffield Wednesday days.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Mark Hughes has turned down a managerial job in dubai. Maybe he's on his way THE DREAM
Edmund Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Mark Hughes has turned down a managerial job in dubai. Just out of interest where did you hear this? I heard only yesterday he was in advanced talks with Al Ahli.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Mark Hughes has turned down a managerial job in dubai. Maybe he's on his way THE DREAM Sadly I can't imagine he would be skint enough to join us :-( However someone that no doubt is... Martin Allen
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 How about Danny Wilson? I personally wouldnt mind him at all. Got a lot of experience, got Hartlepool promoted and took an average Swindon side to the playoffs. Could do a lot worse.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Honestly think Chris Powell is the man. Right Attitude & Right Contacts. Went for Sousa thou.
elbucko Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Mowbray for me, had a good team with WBA always played decent football. Forget his jock adventure in the scottish sunday league!!
Maybes Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Adkins - it seems obvious that we need someone who can manage on a shoestring. This. He's done a superb job at S****horpe.
Joe. Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Danny Wilson isn't a bad shout at all actually - experienced and knows what to do with no money. We could definitely do worse than him. Mandaric will probably go for somebody he doesn't have to give anything for though I'd guess.
elbucko Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Just thought i would say what most are thinking DOWIE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read this Milan WE DONT WANT DOWIE !!!!!!
DanTheFox07 Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 I like the idea of southgate coming in believe it or not! dont forget that he got the sack for boro and they were 2nd in the championship at the time so a bit harsh? either him or coleman and my favourite choice would be Eddie Howe but wont happen! i reckon Dowie will probably be given the job which i dont Want!
