Finchy Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 No problems with the kit, not sure what the quality will be like but the design is fine, could be a lot worse. Also the black kit looks great without a sponsor, might purchase that bad boy.
Webbo Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 Also the black kit looks great without a sponsor, might purchase that bad boy. I was just about to say the same. I might drop a hint for my birthday.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 The away shirt is slightly transparent if you look closely. I do quite like the away top though.
ScouseFox Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 Still owed a birthday present by my uncle, that black kit with no sponsor it is then, nice.
nuttytimmy Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 The new kits look great, which is good considering what Burrda did to Watford. I think I'll be purchasing the yellow number minus sponsor and NOT taking-up the offer of having it printed-on. I quite like the idea of having the 125 home (sponsorless) 2010/11 away (sponsorless) and 125 away (charity) kits. Not sure I'll spend £40 each to get rid of LOROS, and change a couple of badges! Good effort all round - now let's just hope we don't end up with a rubbish sponsor logo plastered on our beautiful kits!
CKB Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 Hmmmmm so that was the wait? seen worse, seen better, will i pay out?? maybe...
Shrenchel Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Anyone that buys the new home kit is either fvcked in the nut or has clearly got enough queens heads to paypal me £50. Get in touch.
ACF Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Unfortunately I've grown out of my home shirt, so it looks like I'm going to have to buy the exact same shirt again! Already have the black one, and not sure about the away shirt. And, I know I could just not buy one, but I use them for football training
TWUKO Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 I Don't want to moan too much about the kits cus its all about the football but what is the point in these, different supplier but 2 shirts the same only one new one, a pointless yellow one, that we will only wear when we play that team that plays in black and blue? I can see why they haven't changed the other designs because this will mean they can do a 2 year kit next time as its a 3 year deal, no one will buy black and blue ones though, can see a few buying black ones while it sponsorless tho. I don't know about anyone else but i'm getting sick of all these crap manufacturers, JJB, Jacko, Joma now Burrda, Who? Its obviously the cheapest wins, which is understandable but its not really when we could have a really popular make, that many will buy. You look at our local rivals Derby-Addidas, Forest-Umbro, Cov-Puma all well known brands. And its annoying when poxy teams like plymouth and peterborough get addidas, and southend and hartlepool get nike, and we get burrda. I know they only get generic designs and don' t get one espically designed like man u or chelsea, but surely thats better than some cheap laughable unknown foregin designer? Another 3 years, maybe then? hopefully they will duck out of this one?
Wymsey Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Waiting for my shirt money refund. As it's LCFC, they will probably tell me to bloody go back to the megastore and collect it which is a 40 minute ride!

TWUKO Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Probably all made in the same sweat shop for tuppence. Was gonna say, the blue one and black one are probably being made in the same sweat shop as the Joma ones, the only difference is that Burrda are now paying the 2p a day child labour wage.
Yojoe36 Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 http://www.lcfc.com/javaImages/8/b1/0,,10274~8892680,00.jpg ew. The new home kit looks awful. I Well its just my opinion. But it saying burrda rather than joma looks abit weird. I dont want the same shirt again though, without the 125 years on it. I'm gonna pop down to the walkers on saturday, buy a long-sleeve yellow kit and watch predetors.
TWUKO Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Stand out from the crowd.................like a bloke in a banana costume! Made by Banana not Burrda!

Another 3 years, maybe then? hopefully they will duck out of this one? I see your point, but why would you want to wear the same kit as other teams, excepting the badge. The Joma kits of last year were of excellent quality, well in league of those made by Nike or Adidas, but without looking the same as a Peterborough or Macclesfield kit. Seriously, have you seen the new Stoke/Plymouth/Hull shirts? They are IDENTICAL but for the colours - and where is the joy in that? Much nicer I feel is to have a kit that's had some consideration made in the design, and not just ironed-on badges and stickers applied to a batch of shirts from A. N. Other plc's warehouse.

Was going to say the same thing Our kit would be exactly the same as Posh's kit if it were made by Addidas. If it were made by Nike you'd only have to change the colour of the Villa kit. I do like the Puma kits, only because of the weird collars. Would love the Umbro shirt though, the same as England and now Rangers. It would be the same as the Rangers shirt but I do really like that kit.
lcfcadam Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 From The Fox: City have yet another new kit supplier for the 2010-11 season with Joma being replaced by Burrda one year into a three year contract. They are releasing a new yellow away kit. What is even more curious is that Burrda will be producing a home shirt exactly the same as last season’s but for their name replacing Joma’s and slight alterations to the 125 Anniversary badge. How many of those are they going to sell? Burrda are a Swiss company who make kits for Watford and Wolves, as well as the Belgium national team and the Egyptian handball team… Those City supporters who are desperate for a ‘proper’ kit manufacturer like adidas or Umbro will have to wait a while longer. I really don't know why I do it to myself, actually coming on here soon after the release of a new kit. Most of the reaction is pre-formed anyway, and regardless of what the thing actually looks like, people just have to take such a rare opportunity to moan away like complete ******. What is it exactly that leads to everyone wanking over Adidas, Umbro etc? If your self-confidence and ego are going to be so undermined by having to watch your football team play in a non-established kit supplier's apparel, then seriously, you probably need to take a good look at yourself. How the hell do you think these well-known suppliers got so well-known and highly-regarded in the first place anyway? Did I miss an extra day of Creation in which God said: "And let Adidas and Umbro be the creators of all non-shite football kits!"? People should surely be supporting smaller companies in times of worldwide financial difficulty, not sucking up to the already mega-rich and famous. Unbelievable.

Yes I agree, I understand it would just be a carbon copy design, with just different badge and colours, its just the name thing I think. I would just like some nike training gear with city badge on it, think it would sell well as normal type sports wear. It is good to have a unique design, these new shirts arn't bad, the joma ones were good too, the only problem I had was the massive joma logo on it. Would like a umbro shirt like englands too, preferably like england away cus don't like collars, although they seem to be making a big come back? thats why i don't like our yellow one!

I'd rather the club get a lot more money out of a deal with someone like Burrda rather than paying for the privilege of a Nike or Adidas catalogue shirt. Whichever one it is, people will still end up buying it.
h1210 Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 The fox heads for the back of the shirts are now on LCFC direct Link No Portugal or Switzerland though
LoughboroughFox Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 The away shirt is slightly transparent if you look closely. I do quite like the away top though. You got man boobs then? or am i sexiest presummimg your a man?
