When you ring up they ask you what you want to speak about before you go on so how the hell did that guy get on??? I really wish they wouldnt have the phone in unless something actually happens.

I can understand it if it had started again today, giving fans the chance to talk about the new season and friendlies and things. Dont know why is has gone on all through the summer though.

I don't know if anyone else can ever remember the time Robbie Savage went on the season we went down from the Premiership (Harry Bassett reign) and he declared how; 'loyal he would be' EVEN IF we were to be relegated and how '...him and the other players cared'. Now, I may be being a little harsh, but in that season, neither of those statements made were backed up with hard evidence, hence why all these rumours they must be discussing now, yet again, has no solid fact behind it (9 times out of 10!) However, saying that, if there was a phone in with Paulo guest starring, I think I'd tune into that beaut!

In a phone-in (or at least our phone-in) one person has the opportunity to have a conversation with the presenter(s). On the other hand a forum has the potential ability to accommodate an infinite number of opinions on one subject for a prolonged amount of time. Therefore the individual who goes on a phone-in is in more of a position to be scrutinised and less likely to be able to put forward a good argument under pressure from professional media types. As someone with a rational and typical conservative (not political) English mindset, I'm not going to put myself throught that. This is the reason, I reckon, you only get nutters calling in

Seems to have gone of the scene" Haha, the worst thing about this is John Sinclair probably responded with something along the lines of "Ahhhh, that's a good point, maybe he's injured or something, we'll try and find out for you by the end of the show". Half an hour later- "turns out he moved to another club...............he must have gone in the last couple of days I assume!". This show is bad enough with Stringer but his limited knowledge is 100 times more than any of the rest of them!

There's supposed to be someone filtering these calls before they go on air. Now the gradel thing is a prime example of a call that should never have even been called back or put through to the studio. Anybody with even a vague knowledge of the club would be able to tell what a fcuking stupid idea putting that through was. If this person/s can't do their job adequately then they should either a) be trained or b) be got rid of. Not that I'm blaming just them, the producers of the show should have an idea of the content they're looking to discuss before going on air, now if they can't find enough decent calls to fulfil that aim, then maybe they should take the hint and not do moan ins anymore. Actually, they could probably be run better by an independent production company or pretty much anyone off this forum come to think of it. An Internet connection and signing up to a forum to chat shit doesn't have any intermediaries before being visible to everyone. There we go, key differences

I agree with you on the Savage thing, he's done nothing but slate us in the media for the past two years, when he was on the football league show saying we didnt deserve our place in the championship, shortly after we turned down signing him. I used to like him when he played for us, but Savage is now an A class fool, and he now thinks he's Gary Lineker for some reason. On the moan in, i love it how you can hear them clicking through this forum for info during the show, does anyone think they realise you can hear it?

My Dad listens to the phone in every week, and I am 99% sure that "Andy from Long Eaton" is still around and still the most hated caller to appear. Have you ever heard so much drivvle. "Andy from Long Eaton" hasn't even got the benefit of the doubt you give to one off callers. I suppose he's a bit of a legend though, just for being so persistently stupid
