Bettsj2 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Typical he isnt on. Though its probably a good thing, dont want the usual idiots phoning up, asking where Max Gradel is. When I heard that I literally couldnt speak for about 15 minutes. It's often mentioned how retarded the people who ring up are but I never thought it would get that bad!
Unabomber Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Someone better call the Samaritans on behalf of Dave from Coalville.
C-man Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Thank God PS isn't on and listening to this moron. It's fvcking painful.
Matt Posted 2 August 2010 Author Posted 2 August 2010 Oh bloody hell. "I'm worried, I'm worried because of the players we've signed, Who is Vitor, Who is Kennedy, Who is Crcnic...We need names, I mean Jay Spearing says he's not happy not playing first team football, he's up for £1m why can't we sign players like him..." 1) Because he's £1m. 2) I'd love that caller to tell me if he knew who Jay Spearing was before last season, I'd love to have heard that caller when we signed many of players that we did under Nigel Pearson. Twat.

Bugg Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Love some people who claim they are "in the know" on the phone-in, saying that he definatley knows Birch is leaving.
Matt Posted 2 August 2010 Author Posted 2 August 2010 So so glad Sousa wasn't on the Phone-In tonight and although it'd be nice for him to go on, get his points across in a Q&A type session I hope he never does go on the Phone-In, It would be an embaressment. Some of our fans (Although the Phone-In only seems to attact those kind of fans). I mean bloody hell, Are we still discussing the Birch and whether he is/will still be employed by LCFC, If not there should be protests! Or Car Parking the someone has paid for yet it won't be valid for Cup or Playoff games - Neither are ST valid for Cup or Playoff games so surley you should be more worried about that before looking at Car Parking. Don't know why I listen, Sometimes I can have a good laugh at these people, other times they just wind me up.
Foxblogger Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Call me crazy, but have any of you thought of calling in yourselves to raise the level of discussion?
FrankieADZ Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I real wonder sometimes, just cos there name signings don't mean there going to be any better

Or the ones that grumbled less than a minute into the game? It's not just the phone-ins, Matt, it's the games too, which is more worrying.

Matt Posted 8 August 2010 Author Posted 8 August 2010 Really hope Sousa can't make it this Monday again (He's meant to be on this week). It really be cringeworthy with the type of fans phoning in, some probably on his back already. Although if he can't be on this week it probably looks worse for him because people will see him as backing out from answering fans question after a defeat.

He's probably experienced smilar at Swansea.
Bettsj2 Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Surely all slubs have these types of fans. He's probably experienced smilar at Swansea. Sousa is a smart guy though and very elequent. I hope some fans do come on and try and give him stick as I think he'll rip them to shreds and show them up for the morons they actually are. It absolutely beggars belief that people were coming on after the game yesterday and saying that he's not the right man for the job and he should go and Pearson should never have been forced out etc etc. What the hell is wrong with these people?? Have they just started watching football in the last few days or something?? That 2nd half (and the majority of the 1st) we absolutely dominated. The 3 goals came from lack of concentration and nothing more. Sousa recognised the need to change it round and 2nd half we changed formation and absolutely killed them. On another day we would have won that game 3-5. It makes me so fooking angry these short sighted idiots calling for the guys head so please if any of you are reading this, go on the forum and ask Sousa to play Maxi Gradel and see what you fooking get. Dickheads.
Madrid_Fox Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 I agree with you on the Savage thing, he's done nothing but slate us in the media for the past two years, when he was on the football league show saying we didnt deserve our place in the championship, shortly after we turned down signing him. I used to like him when he played for us, but Savage is now an A class fool, and he now thinks he's Gary Lineker for some reason. On the moan in, i love it how you can hear them clicking through this forum for info during the show, does anyone think they realise you can hear it? Sav was very unhappy about Nigel Pearson saying that Derby had come to Leicester looking for a draw last season. Despite there being an element of truth to what Pearson said, We all know how competetive Savage is.

I agree with what you say. i watched the football league show on bbc iplayer (as i missed it due to not getting back from the game until 1am) and the guy who comentates the highlights for our game claims that palace were far the better team in the first half, just because they got 3 goals, we dominated the whole game apart from that 20minutes when we conceded 3 goals, the commentators for highlights dont know anything. <_<

Yes I hope Sousa can't make it either in order to protect his own sanity. Stringer's already probably pissed him off in his post-match interview, bleating on about bloody fitness even though we dominated the second half by all accounts. This will be car-crash radio if Sousa does indeed take part in the show. Radio Leicester should insist upon only fans that went to the game ringing in, and if none of them do, just cancel the show because it's pointless otherwise; just a load of moaning idiots who have no idea what's going on.

They should do that anyway I think. Especially after the home games.

Sousa "I'm sorry I did not understand that" DJ "Nervous repeat of Brian's question in simple patronising english" Sousa "I don't know" Brian "oh" DJ "Do you like Birchanell Brian?" Awkward pause DJ "hello Brian? Brian "Yes" DJ "Thanks for that Brian" I can't wait for this!!!!

MC Prussian Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 Do the bookies take bets on how many RL callers manage to mispronounce the current manager's name? Will there be at least one caller still thinking Ryan McGivern is playing for us? And when will the first grumpy old Lestoh fella call for O'Neill to replace Sousa? Questiones over questiones, all to be resolved in about an hour's time...
