RGFox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 I, for one, am glad that they've done this. I've already got tinnitus - so the last thing I wanted was those damn horns...!!
deepbluedevil Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Good news If i want the same 'atmosphere' i'll go and set my car alarm off
Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 They've not specifically banned other instruments though - I'll bring my double bass along
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Was this not announced ages ago? Sure I hear it was from somewhere!
Ozwin Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Was this not announced ages ago? Sure I hear it was from somewhere! I'm feeling a bit of deja vu too.
Trickyfox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 glad they are banned, they destroyed the world cup atmosphere....
ousefox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Hate the bastard things. Wouldn't be suprised to see a lot of them at clubs like Mk, Cov, Posh this season.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Blacpool haven't banned them, expect them to have alot.
Fox in a Box Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Does this mean we are banning the 'post horn gallop' as the instrument is technically the same thing? :trumpet: :trumpet: :trumpet:
Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Does this mean we are banning the 'post horn gallop' as the instrument is technically the same thing? :trumpet: :trumpet: :trumpet: I'm playing it on a kazoo instead
jonthefox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 no vuvuzelas?. we'll just have to make do with jobbers drum and the fosse boys then .
shiv Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 I'm very glad the club has done this. I was worried that Milan would try to sell Vuvuzelas with the LCFC logo on. It's the kind of money making idea that we usually come up with
LCFC-ARAB Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 http://celticfc.net/news/stories/news_300610154759.aspx Got to feel sorry for Celtic fans
MPH Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 It will all die a death pretty soon. As will some of the younger celtic fans, i'd imagine...
Fosse Boy Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Does this mean we are banning the 'post horn gallop' as the instrument is technically the same thing? :trumpet: :trumpet: :trumpet: Post Horn = Brass Instrument Vuvuzela = Plastic blowhole for complete maulers So no, not technically the same instrument at all.
Leicester Rule! Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 O well .... I wasn't intending using my vuvuzuela I brought back from South Africa down the Walkers anyway ....
Guest Bilo Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 http://celticfc.net/news/stories/news_300610154759.aspx Got to feel sorry for Celtic fans Love to know what the Green Brigade think of it all.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Think the green brigade will be some what annoyed all there hard work drowned out by a swarm of bees.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Think the green brigade will be some what annoyed all there hard work drowned out by a swarm of bees. Except that won't happen.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Except that won't happen. A lot of it, I except that a lot of it won't be ruined but small parts of it will.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 A lot of it, I except that a lot of it won't be ruined but small parts of it will. I seriously doubt Parkhead will be taken over by influx of vuvuzela tooting morons. Probably be about a dozen kids for a couple of games then they'll get bored or beaten up for their troubles. Won't affect any atmosphere created there by the GB or otherwise.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 1 in 500 maybe with a Vuvuzela meaning only maybe 100 odd Vuvuzelas so actually yeah i see what you mean GB will easily out sing them.
