Head Honcho Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Love the way the OS have stuck a season tickets advert underneath the report for this game, as if thousands of non st holders are gonna go out and buy one after this result.
Narborough_fox Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Radio coverage on saturday I assume. will know nearer the time. Almost certainly not on T.V, Hope that helps
DB11 Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Has anyone seen Jorrin John or Jeffrey Schlupp play live? Yeah
Asha Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Decent ratings there peterborofox, although I think you've been a bit harsh on Oakley. I thought he had a very solid game in midfield. 7.5 for me. DJ is a hero.
Smudge Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Most the subs who came on did ok, but with all the stop starting it was difficult to keep track of these new faces, but thin he was alright. Thanks for the reports how did Weso play?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Thanks for the reports how did Weso play? Bit anonymous really, though Posh were all poor.
sdb Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 sounds like they're getting to grips with the new style. really not up for Logan being our no.1 though. He's always looked way out of his depth at this level to me, and has hardly set the world alight in the lower leagues either.
FrankieADZ Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Will the goals be aviable on Leicesters website? And......... Will it be any coverage of the satudays match (Radio or Tv) ? Thanks for any answer id say the goals might well be on east midlands today tomorrow, with stringer say EMT where there, Also more than likely there will be updates on Sky Sports news for the Sunderland game.
Stand UP... Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Fryatt only striker not score during pre season! He did set up two goals tonight though
Ozwin Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 sounds like they're getting to grips with the new style. really not up for Logan being our no.1 though. He's always looked way out of his depth at this level to me, and has hardly set the world alight in the lower leagues either. How can you set the world alight as a goalkeeper? He does his job fine, what do you expect him to do, score 10 goals a season and keep clean sheets in every game? Who decided he's suddenly our number one too?
Asha Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Logan was fantastic tonight. Kicking was a bit weak at times but he was very solid.
Stand UP... Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Logan pulled off a stunning save with a ball coming towards him at 100mph, when ever he puts on a city shirt he has never let us down despite the few appearances he has been given the chance to play for us.
AjcW Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Got to Love Mr Casual . Well im looking forward to saturday now, its good to see the side dont seem to have any sort of "Hangover" from last season or NP leaving. Bring on Sunderland!
Mawsley Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Were people trying to tell others to boycott that game? I think not.. So i'm not even sure how you can draw a comparison there! And nice to see you used the 'more harm than good' in a totally different context to what I used it in.. *sigh* Is this forum just for the moaning city fans? Because as soon as someone comes along and says they're going to support the team regardless of the price, those who aren't going try to put a downer on it! You didn't go. You were absent. You were not missed. Many didn't go to Peterborough - is the club calling a crisis meeting to debate the harm having been done? See the link yet?
VampLCFC Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Good game to watch, very odd atmosphere due to there being a total of about 400 people there! Me and mrs paid £22 each for sitting, rediculous! Funny to see the piss head casually stroll on the pitch at half time, put his arm round Chris Weale, kiss his hand, have a laugh and a joke with Chris Powell, then casually stroll back off again! Shame the stewards then kicked him out, nice to see Chris Powell talking to the stewards afterwards, trying to convince them to let the guy back in! Good performance overall, Logan was good, kicking little bit off at times, cracking save off first free kick, couldve maybe done better with the goal, bit was a good free kick! Fryatt looked lost at times, completely unwilling to use his left foot! I like Dany N'Guessan, I always have, gets barged off the ball much to easily for a big bloke, one minute he's running down the wing taking on two defenders, the next minute completely uninterested and a bit lathargic all others were pretty much usual solid performance
millsycufc Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Cambridge United fan here, I was at the match tonight. Thought you looked sharp, at least a step ahead of Posh, which I suppose you would hope to be given the league gap. Mostly just enjoyed seeing Morro play, that's my only connection to LCFC. Really pleased he's found his feet for you. I thought he was excellent tonight. Otherwise, didn't see all that much of Fryatt, but the finishing was spot on and another big difference between the sides.
VampLCFC Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Yea we looked pretty good, good finishing too, Morrison solid as always, looking like it will be a good partnership with Hobbs
Thracian Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I've always rated Logan, dunno why some City fans used to slate him, clueless. I wouldn't worry, they're likely the same fans who've always reckoned Campbell's shit and wanted the likes of Kermorgant in the team
mmarkie Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 We played some nice stuff, especially for the 3rd goal, Fryatt's passing was good and DJ was using his pace alot. Also, it was nice to see DJ clap the fans this time
MikeyT Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I wasn't at the game but by all accounts it sounded like a very good performance. DJ sounded really good as did most of the guys on the pitch. No idea who some of the trialists were, never heard of them. Anyone that went, how did they play? I know they were only on a short time though and it's difficult to base much of an opinion on them in such a short space of time.

Good going forward and put in one decent cross.
