andy_croydz Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I don't like it when they only open 1 stand, I understand it saves money but it feels like you are being crammed in like a tin of sardines. I don't think it would cost much more to open the Kop aswell.
NorthernFox Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 Mackem I work with reckons their taking quite a few down the A1 Saturday. Could make for a fiestier friendly than usual.
Collymore Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 Mackem I work with reckons their taking quite a few down the A1 Saturday. Could make for a fiestier friendly than usual. Yeah they're notorious for a good following for friendlies. I played footy in the roughest part of Sunderland last week in my LCFC shirt - A group of 8 charvers were going on about it as if it was the worldcup final! They were all going but looked like they didn't have a penny to scrape together.
Tilley Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 £12 for a pre-season friendly? Wouldn't even pay that for a league game.

Callabinho Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 I have a feeling that today all will be revealed regarding the mystery investors and what not, IF….. A decision has already been reached between us and the much talked about investors maybe today will be the day it is revealed. Milan has denied that any kind of deal has been done so far, however the appointment of Sousa at the time was boo-hood by Milan later he was to be unveiled as manager! I also think we will have the new sponsor on the shirts today! And maybe before K.O or at half time we may finally meet the faces of the new investors for the first time. It’s been going on for a while now and I think Milan just wants to wait until the time is right to announce it all, and what is better than Paulo’s first game at the walkers in front of the LCFC faithful!.... I also feel we will see a few new faces in the warm up too! Anyway that’s just what I think but I am looking forwards to this one!
KFS Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 I think half of what you said could possibly happen, but it's a nice idea! Prove me wrong
davieG Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 Leicester city fans are expected to get their first glimpse of new striker Leon Crncic today when Sunderland visit the Walkers Stadium (3.0). The 20-year-old Slovenian trained with his new team-mates yesterday and is in the squad for City's final warm-up game before the big Championship kick-off at Crystal Palace next Saturday. City are confident that Crncic will be their player before the friendly. The deal is almost done and dusted, with just one piece of paperwork required. Crncic has undergone a medical but the club are still waiting for the results of a final scan to come through before everything can be signed and sealed. However, City are confident this will be all sorted out before the Sunderland game. Crncic's arrival should boost competition for places in attack. He earned his chance by impressing new City boss Paulo Sousa during the club's training camp in Slovenia earlier this month. Crncic will not be the only City player making his debut at the Walkers Stadium today. Tom Kennedy, a left-back brought in from Rochdale, and Nigel Pearson's last signing before leaving for Hull, will be hoping for a run-out at some stage.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 Should be going to this. Hope we can get a decent crowd around the 10k mark would be good.
C-man Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 I think Callabinho will be more than a little disappointed this afternoon...
