Latest on the OS today is the wonderful story that the Sun is doing a deal with Football League clubs to offer cheap tickets, allegedly "from" £9.50 each, whatever that means. Later in the article the price is twice referred to as £19.50 for two tickets, making them £9.75 each, but the first paragraph in which the price is explicitly mentioned says:

The paper's latest offer launches on Saturday August 7 - the opening weekend of the npower Football League season - and will bring readers even closer to the action. It gives every reader the chance to get bargain footie tickets to matches in England and Wales from just £99.50 a pair.

So that's £49.75 per person 'bargain' tickets. If you're keen, the article helpfully explains what you have to do:

Readers just have to collect four differently numbered tokens printed in The Sun from Saturday 7 to Friday 13 July.

So... go back in time, collect some vouchers and then pay double the face value of the tickets. Bargain.

But the article says £99.50 not £9.50 or whatever it should say.

Not the first and won't be the last miss print..

The deals still a great deal... to knock it because of a miss print is crazy.
