Wymsey Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Surprised by how well Sunderland are doing in the PL and made good performance so far against Chelsea, apart from the pen.
StanSP Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Surprised by how well Sunderland are doing in the PL and made good performance so far against Chelsea, apart from the pen. 2-1 down now Everton 1 up against Arsenal. Saha was offside but was a good finish just outside the box.
Wymsey Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 If Wigan don't go down this season then that would be quite weird as they sound shambolic according to 2 commentators.
StanSP Posted 1 February 2011 Posted 1 February 2011 Can't see Man Utd being stopped. Nope. Me neither. The only tough games I can see them having are the one at Old Trafford against Man City (who no doubt will go ultra defensive) in a couple weeks, then the start of March where they play Chelsea and Liverpool away. But by then, they may have got a bigger lead. Arsenal are doing well at the moment though too. Can't be caught after tomorrow's matches, and will have a game in hand on Man City who are currently in 3rd anyway. Just hope they don't throw it away like previous seasons!
ScouseFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 SSN: Gary Neville retires from football with immediate effect.
StanSP Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Spurs have 2 keepers - Cudicini and Pletikosa - on their bench . I thought they had a big squad!
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Wowzer - what a freekick by Kolarov. Just look at the way it bends around the Birmingham Wall...
Wymsey Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Just have that feeling Blackpool will do a 'hull freefall' this season. Do brilliantly in the first period then struggle during the second part of the season and go down.
Corky Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Blackpool struggling now, big win for West Ham and point for Birmingham.
StanSP Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Blackpool struggling now, big win for West Ham and point for Birmingham. Birmingham have 2 games in hand due to their success in League Cup. Could be vital.
StanSP Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Suarez bags after 16 minutes. Nando who? All the Liverpool fans saying 'Fernando who?' is just setting it up nicely for Torres to bag the winner on Sunday!
ScouseFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 All the Liverpool fans saying 'Fernando who?' is just setting it up nicely for Torres to bag the winner on Sunday! That would make my week. So much talk of how Carragher's going to "smash him up" from all the 'pool fans. Laughable, guy just wanted to better his career
Jimothy Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 WTF is Higginbotham doing for Suarez's goal? He's playing him about 3 yards onside and looking up the pitch at Suarez and is trying to claim offside. Not sure why but I hate seeing players throw their arms in the air claiming for everything, but especially when it's blatant they've messed up. Just play the game, if Higginbotham had chased Suarez instead of standing with his arm aloft expecting the ref or linesman to dig him out of a hole, he might have caught him and prevented the goal.
ScouseFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Zubar  Stoke's defence for Suarez's goal
Jimothy Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 First time I've properly seen the Saha goal from last night and it has to be one of the worst decisions I've ever seen in a football match.
ScouseFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Anelka's goal was quality. Saha's goal was laughable.
Brainy Posted 3 February 2011 Posted 3 February 2011 Am I a £35m Striker? I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22. In my first season in the top flight I had 15 goals by the end of Jan. Including a goal against the reigning champions, away at Arsenal and in a home win vs Liverpool. My form earned me an England call-up and debut in a friend...ly.... Am a I £35m striker? No I am Michael Ricketts, February 2002.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Stoke 0-1 Sunderland. Richardson goal. Well that is going to ruin the majority of my bets for the day
