MC Prussian Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 What a gameday! Has there ever been a Saturday with this many goals a game in the top flight?? Where's a Premier League/First Division expert when you need one? Pleased that the ManU wankfest on television is stopping now (at least for a while). Other than that, Blackpool are looking like proper relegation candidates the further the season progresses.

StanSP Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 What a gameday! Has there ever been a Saturday with this many goals a game in the top flight?? Where's a Premier League/First Division expert when you need one? It's a record according to SSN. For a 38-game season, it's a record, 41 goals. The previous record was in 1993, according to OptaJoe on Twitter, where that record was 47.
Uncle Phil Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 How did Giggs not get sent off for that? Kicked out at Doyle because he wasn't getting on with the free-kick. Didn't even get a yellow That was an absolute joke. How he got away with it I'll never know.
Bugg Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 That was an absolute joke. How he got away with it I'll never know. Because he has his own fitness DVD, how can you send a man off with his own fitness DVD?!?
StanSP Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 That was an absolute joke. How he got away with it I'll never know. Presumably, because the ref didn't see it or take action, he might get some retrospective punishment from the FA?
Mee Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 How can he blame the ref for throwing away a 4 goal lead. Arsenal team should have won that whether Diaby was sent off or not. Cry baby. Agree with this. Wenger has an excuse for everything. Even if there was some so-called 'dodgy' decisions, it doesn't mean you can throw a 4 goal lead away. Be good to see it on MOTD tonight. Wolves fought for the points today, wanted it more. How Giggs didn't get booked - I'll never know .
MC Prussian Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Because he has his own fitness DVD, how can you send a man off with his own fitness DVD?!? He's too old to be sent off, it's unheard of. You know, it's got something to do with respect. And with him being the Welsh equivalent of Roberto Donadoni.
Jimothy Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Don't think you can knock Wilshere and Arsenal for moaning about this game, the ref has has a fooking mare!
Benji Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Have to say if Leicester were Arsenal today I'd be fuming with the officials
Edmund Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Bet those Newcastle fans who left early are gutted. Tiote's goal was top drawer.
ScouseFox Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Second penalty and Nolan's arm around the keeper were both ridiculous decisions from the ref. Wenger didn't see anything though! Surprise. Tiote's goal an celebration
Edmund Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Fuck knows how Nolan didn't get sent off for that
Finnegan Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 "Elokobi exposed himself..." Fair few Foxes Talk probably got wood just now.
Libertine Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Tiote would definitely qualify in BlueBrett's SHIIIIIT RUUUUUUUUN section.
Jimothy Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 What do: Arsenal 2-3 Spurs, Wigan 2-3 Arsenal, Sunderland 1-1 Arsenal, Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal have in common? Phil Dowd, apparently....
Bugg Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Tiote would definitely qualify in BlueBrett's SHIIIIIT RUUUUUUUUN section. That is one menacing forehead.
Samilktray Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Tiote would definitely qualify in BlueBrett's SHIIIIIT RUUUUUUUUN section. lol
Guest ttfn Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I'm finding all these goals tiresome. I tuned in today hoping to see a series of hard-fought 1-0 victories for the home sides. Instead I'm seeing nonsense scorelines like Man United losing and a 4-4 draw. The game's gone mad.
Bugg Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Good. Hollowhead has had his 15 minutes of fame and once Blackpool go down, he'll be forgotten by anyone who doesn't watch SoccerAM.
Edmund Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Beckford's goal was class. It was lovely. Looked simple but takes a lot of skill to pull off. The guy never scores a bad goal.
