Guest Bilo Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 3 games into the BSP and Luton and AFC Wimbledon have 100% starts to the season. Decent 3-0 win for Wimbledon over Tamworth with Luton matching that at newly promoted Fleetwood. Could this be indicative of how the race for a Football League place pans out? Hope so, these are two clubs that have been treated shoddily by the Football League in the past and it would be a great way for the two of them to say fvck you. Meanwhile Grimsby got a reality check when they went down 2-1 at home to Hayes & Yeading, not great prep for next week's game at home to Luton. Meanwhile in the Blue Square North, Boston United murdered Redditch 9-0 away as they attempt to regain the FL place they lost in 2006.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Corby drew 1-1 at Blyth Spartans Rushden & Diamonds are matching Leicester at the moment.....bottom of the BSP with Kettering also in the bottom four. Hinckley won 5-2 against Stalybridge....first points of the season for the knitters.

Guest Bilo Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Flippin Nora, not even sure where that is one the NLS pyramid! He'll be in the Senior League next.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Benjamin (pictured) takes over from Tom Wade, who left to take over at West Allotment Celtic in the First Division.
Brainy Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Meanwhile in the Blue Square North, Boston United murdered Redditch 9-0 away as they attempt to regain the FL place they lost in 2006. oh fook off. we're awful.
J.Lisemore Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Its nice to see Wimbledon doing well, it would be great to see them in the League next season, hope they keep it up.
CheshireFox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 i'm hopefully off to watch Altrincham on saturday, always makes for a good afternoon out and just up the road from me. hope they find a winning streak soon as they've been struggling at the start of the season! be nice to actually be able to watch a match without being stressed out for 90 minutes too
dandannieldanok Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Marcus Law won his first game as Kettering boss today. Seen his team first-hand at Quorn a lot and he was really top manager for them (especially considering some of the dross they've appointed), and obviously that continued over at Barwell. Definitely got the potential to manage in the football league, should do well for Kettering.
CosbehFox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Happy for him, read in the week he'd joined Kettering. Big challenge for him now as he can't use the same players etc. as he was at Barwell and Quorn.
Finnegan Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 West Allotment Celtic lol Sod Leicseter, I'm off to support Bottom of the Garden Albion.
NorthernFox Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Barwell got a very creditable 1-1 draw at Solihull Moors in the 3rd QFY Rnd for the FACup. Unfortunately Hinckley went out 0-1 at Redditch.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Another win for Marcus Law at Kettering, he's made a dream start. Also good to see Luke Varney yesterday still coming to watch Quorn when he can.
purpleronnie Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 FC united won in the FA cup, can't see them getting any further though. I guess they might get a good draw but the odds are against that.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Shepshed Dynamo lost 4-1 to carry on there extremely terrible form in the league, decent bunch of fans though In other news, Scarborough Athletic lost 1-0 to Thackley yesterday despite playing decent football in the first half.
BoneDog Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Does anyone know what's happening with Ilkeston Town and whether they will be back or not? I'm not sure about deleting them off my FM database or not.

I used to go and watch shepshed, back in their 80's heyday, my uncle played for them for a long time during that period. They were a excellent side, reaching the fa vase semi's and climbing the leagues. Sad to see they're struggling.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 October 2010 Posted 11 October 2010 Who is he playing for there? I saw this the other week. http://www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/article.asp?aid=11246&iid=207&sud=1717
