Edmund Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 not giving the source but let me just say that dj took the piss out of a teammate in training and some one got thumped. i don't know to much at moment but could be the reason dj was not in squad on saturday.when i get more info i will let you know This is bollocks.
Edmund Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Both, just to be impartial. Definitely. Waghorn's work rate plus strength and DJ's pace would be lethal.
Ozwin Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Neither to be perfectly honest. Do you ever get tired of saying the opposite to everyone else?
The Doctor Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Heskey tbh it's a difficult choice, campbell is faster and i would think slightly more prolific but is very tempermental, while waghorn puts in more effort and would notch up a few but wouldn't terrorise defences the way campbell would.
Wymsey Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 I can't believe this is actually a debate. Agree. Feel both of them in the same league as each other in terms of quality. Both as well can have bad attitudes on the pitch. Nuff said.
lestajigs Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Waghorn . Leicesters got a place in his heart!! Not that I can say that for cambell, as for better player prob cambell hate to say it though
buzzy Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 This is bollocks. don't you think with everything that has happened over the weekend ie campbell left out , players handing in transfers , etc this source i had does make a little sense but of course you have your opinon
phillthefox Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 according to motty on five live and sunderland forums hes left tonight for leicester in 2 mill deal.....
Edmund Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 don't you think with everything that has happened over the weekend ie campbell left out , players handing in transfers , etc this source i had does make a little sense but of course you have your opinon Campbell was left out because he's on his way to Blackpool, personal terms have been agreed for some time now just a matter of a fee. Leicester didn't play him as they don't want to risk him getting injured or the deal would've been dead. In regards to the transfer requests, I don't know the facts but transfer requests were mentioned earlier this week on the forum so it's unlikely they've happened over the weekend. It only became public knowledge this weekend that is all. Are you saying all this happened after kick off against reading? They've been in place since the beginning of this week or even earlier as numerous posters on here reported this. Of course I can't confirm that but you're story about Deej in a training bust up is sensationalist conspiracy bullshit.
miles2lcfc Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 DJ could only dream of being any where near as good as Waggy.
Jodranadinho Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 WAGHORN. he gave everything for the club last season. passion. commitment. and the drive to go forward. deej may technically be slightly better but doesnt care. simple. cash in on the mardy git and lets get a real striker in. waghorrrrrn waghorrrrrrrn
Donut Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 A sulky moody player who has barely scored a goal for us and has spent most of his tenure being farmed out away from his parent club and only seems to put any effort in to place himself in the shop window in the vain hope of a move with the knowledge he will never justify his highly over inflated transfer fee OR A young, wholehearted 110% effort striker of tenacity, battling qualities, and no shortage of skill who managed to bag 15 goals despite playing in a side struggling for goals in general and often being asked to plough a lone furrow up front from an established, reputable premiership club. Is it even a debate? Ill take the latter
Jordan Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Waghorn, but only because I'm Wayne Brown and I'm a racist. No, seriously, though: Waghorn. Last time I checked, Waggy with Fryatt, Dyer (and Howard, even) were, as a unit, able to handle Championship defenses just fine. Plus, Waghorn actually wants to play for Leicester and, hey, he might even be on lower wages than DJ.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Waghorn is 100 times better overall than DJ.
Willoughbyyy Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 Defiantly Waghorn, DJ didn't want to play for us.
Jon25747 Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 I'm one of the few people who do think DJ could be good for us but for me its still obviously waggy
LCFCkid Posted 30 August 2010 Author Posted 30 August 2010 Looks like its just bout done deal accordin to stringer on twitter
