Hence why the Japanese fans on the video of his peno are chanting a-be yu-ki. We have anglicised it to Yuki Abe, neither is 'wrong' per se.

I'm sure it's going nothing to do with rising the club's profile/making the club more popular in Nihon, that small Asian football market. At least that one female Japanese LCFC fan has someone to talk to when she comes over now - and she might come over more often now than originally planned.
