Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Cardiff appear to have injury problems for Tuesday night, especially with Bellamy and Bothroyd probably missing. Cardiff injuries
VampLCFC Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Sounds like Bellamy, Chopra and Bothroyd all out for Tuesday night, makes it slightly easier for us, would be a cracking first league win!
Salieri Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Sounds like Bellamy, Chopra and Bothroyd all out for Tuesday night, makes it slightly easier for us, would be a cracking first league win! We shouldn't need to rely on other teams missing key players but there's no denying that Cardiff would be a far easier proposition minus those three players. Our league position belies us at the moment, we are nowhere near as bad as our position suggests, we just desperately need a win, for confidence as much as anything else. I think we are capable of beating anyone 'on our day' and i reckon the proverbial worm will turn on Tuesday and our season will start to come to life at last.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Never minding the players that may be missing, Burke, Whittingham and Keogh are players that will almost certainly play well against us, and I doubt Koumas and Olofinjana will be too shabby either. There's still a lot of quality in their side going forward. My guess is at least two of the players potentially missing will be named amongst the substitutes and come on half-fit to make a big impact considering our luck at the minute.
Callabinho Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 If waggy and fryatt are confident, and we play like we did today, we could beat Cardiff! Who the **** is Peter Whittingham? Lets see his face when Abe kain's in a 30 yard free kick!
Salieri Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 we will come on Tuesday and destroy you. Oh dear, i see you have managed to crawl back from underneath your rock.
StanSP Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Reading were missing some key players and they got a result at our place. Just because some key players are gonna miss out, doesn't mean the replacements are automatically gonna be shit. Let's just focus on what we can do best and actually try and convert some of the many chances that we get in a match and hopefully get a positive result.
Corky Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Shouldn't underestimate them at all. They have quality even below those three players. If we win we'll have done fantastically well.
rico Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 we will come on Tuesday and destroy you. the same way you destroyed us in the play offs at your gaff, muppet
atw88 Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 the same way you destroyed us in the play offs at your gaff, muppet Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties
Ozwin Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 We're going to ****ing maul them. Mark my words.
Webbo Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties Did you cry at Wembley? Or more likely watching it on Sky on your sofa.
FrankieADZ Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Well if i remember correct Koumas scored against us when he was last on loan with them too, I agree it would help if they wasnt playing but to better them I still think we'll need to put in a more than decent performance. we can beat them tho
atw88 Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Did you cry at Wembley? Or more likely watching it on Sky on your sofa. Not a bad £64 spent, certainly not the worst.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 atw88. The classic Cardiff fan. No wonder the whole country backed Blackpool to go up.
Leicfox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties We owe you, and you will be owned.
Corky Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 we will come on Tuesday and destroy you. That'll be nice.
Leicfox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Did you cry at Wembley? Or more likely watching it on Sky on your sofa. No they never cried, i went down to Wembley to that game with a few Blackpool lads. The big hard Cardiff boys resorted to throwing glass bottles from height down on us and i must add nearly hit my daughter. CNUTS.
Joe. Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 I actually think we'll win this. Of course it'll be much better if those three are out, they're huge players for Cardiff. Whittingham and Burke are good players at this level as we've all seen, but let's face it, they're not as important to Cardiff as the others. So long as we don't give Whittingham the chance to make us pay from needless free-kicks we should be able to contain them reasonably well.
Edmund Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 It's a sad sate of affairs when we're relying on injuries to key players from the opposition to stand a chance of a result. If we want to be competing in this division we shouldn't be worrying about any team regardless of who's playing or not.

Think about it please how many championship teams have anyone like Craig Bellamy him being out may just be the bit of luck we need.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Shame Chopra's not fit. I really wanted to give the little shit some serious stick.
