Guest Basildon Fox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 It's a sad sate of affairs when we're relying on injuries to key players from the opposition to stand a chance of a result. If we want to be competing in this division we shouldn't be worrying about any team regardless of who's playing or not. A win is a win. It is a much more winnable game without them playing. Will you say on Tuesday that the result means nothing if we win and they do not play? I doubt it.
acooling08 Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Fcking hate Bellamy. Whiney little fag. 1 of the few players I wouldn't mind getting cropped, along with Barton and Earnshaw.
J.Lisemore Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties 'Wonderful' piece of cheating more like...
ibbosuk Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 We shouldn't need to rely on other teams missing key players but there's no denying that Cardiff would be a far easier proposition minus those three players. Our league position belies us at the moment, we are nowhere near as bad as our position suggests, we just desperately need a win, for confidence as much as anything else. I think we are capable of beating anyone 'on our day' and i reckon the proverbial worm will turn on Tuesday and our season will start to come to life at last. Well if we stop missing fookin chances "Confidence" would be there, but its game after game, we are fast turning in to swansea MKll. If Sousa = the players carn't turn it round by Xmas EVERYBODY will want a change, including myself....
Parsons Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Look at Newcastle last season They had the likes of Alan Smith, Joey Barton, Kevin Nolan... so many others and they didnt exactly destroy us did they We were very unlucky not to win and we only had 10 men
philce Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties Yes indeed, quite a skill moving a free kick 10 yards from the touch line. Not his fault we have crap "officials". Chopra was offside at your gaff for the "pen". Then cheating and diving your way to a humiliation at Wembley, (which you must hate is in ENGLAND!). If you hate the English so much why are you in this league??? You were desperate for promotion to sort out your obscene financial affairs, I hope you are the first to fail this season! Twats!
lcfc81 Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 No ones seemed to have mentioned him, but if its true Bothroyd is out then that could be a major blessing he would be one of the players (if not the player) we could struggle with most as we seem to be slightly soft at the back in the air at the minute. That's not a criticism though. I'm personally in the, 'Paulo is trying to fundamentally change the way we approach football and its going to take patients and time to work', and have seen enough promise to appease my restlessness. If it takes a few players out to nab a win to build confidence and push on then I'm all up for that (its about time we got a little good fortune to be fair).
poopbutt Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 i'd take a win for whatever reason at this point.
Finnegan Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Bellers? Injured? Fuck me, I didn't think I'd live to see the day.
FoxyPV Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties How can you did you destroy us on penalties? It's not like we missed all our penalties - we missed two ffs! Anyway hopefully we'll get a win here - playing better as the season progresses we just need to start scoring.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Bellers? Injured? Fuck me, I didn't think I'd live to see the day. It was always going to happen.
Wymsey Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Sounds like Bellamy, Chopra and Bothroyd all out for Tuesday night, makes it slightly easier for us, would be a cracking first league win! This would be very good news yeah but they've still got Burke who ripped us apart last season and Keogh who performed well yesterday. Shame we don't have any real dangermen like they do apart from Waghorn and Fryatt (unlike yesterday).
Karljohn Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 we will come on Tuesday and destroy you. Venturing out of your third world country on Tuesday? Funny how you lot slag England off yet couldn't wait to taunt me and other city fans outside your stadium with "Wembley" chants back in May, obviously looking forward to your day out of the cave. I can understand how excited you must be on your day trip from Merthyr Tydfil but destroy us? careful...else mummy might have to wash the wee wee out of your pants before you go to school tomorrow.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 September 2010 Author Posted 12 September 2010 Well we destroyed you at your gaff, with a wonderful piece of skill. And then we subsequently destroyed you at penalties atw88 only reason you got to the final mate was because of inept decisions as the refs obivously feel sorry for sheep loving people like yourself:- 1) Whittingham's a cheat and moved the ball 2) Chopra was miles offside on the way to receiving his penalty.

Cardiff's a brighter, vibrant, generally more modern city than Leicester - and a much better night out. It was also the venue of plenty of English club's "Big Day Out." for about half a decade - how many cup finals we had there recently? Oh. And it's fooking miles from Merthyr Tydfil you embarrassingly backwards twat.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 I'll agree with Finnegan about Cardiff being a top notch town. Always good for a day out and a nice atmos. Gigs and matches at the Millenimum have been great too (Springsteen, Bournemouth vs Lincoln POF). On a slightly different front, good to see Newport County on their way back to the league. Now that is a hard as nails town. I once got involved in some pretty ugly scenes when Bournemouth played Newport many moons ago. Anyway, back to Cardiff. Nice castle; nice olde worlde shopping mals and the bay regeneration is a treat. I still hate Chopra though.
CCFC_Urawa_Reds Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 "Just because some key players are gonna miss out, doesn't mean the replacements are automatically gonna be shit" Obviously you don't don't know much about Cardiff !! . Nah, seriously though, this is the best squad i've ever known at the City (CCFC). There's enough quality in the squad to give any team a game and, with a fully fit squad, someone will probably need shooting if they can't get the club to the Premiership.
MC Prussian Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 The Cardiff squad and fans might be in for a surprise on Tuesday night, with or without their star players... With the progress we've made in terms of playing and dominating the opposition, the next home game could just as well turn out to be a turning point in our season.
Wymsey Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Anyone know many are going to this game? Bet QPR would have a 'bumper' crowd
z-layrex Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 we will come on Tuesday and destroy you. I'm looking forward to it, been ages since I was 'destroyed' by a big sweaty welshman
Adster Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Bellamy, one of them players you just want to punch in the face for being so cocky. Still not a patch on robert earnshaw though, scored a consolation and STILL does a backflip and waves his arm from left to right..

One of the most infuriating sights known to man, him and his bean head combined with a shambolic celebration.
