norfolkfox222 Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Im not 1 for starting new topics that often, but i feel really strongly about this! The next 4 games could be decisive into what sort of season we are going to have!! I think its a must that we have to be looking at getting at least 9-10 points out of these games or we can wave bye bye to any sort of play off challenge and get set for a horrible relegation battle! I also think going by how long it took Swansea to gel under Sousa that it is time that our team really started to deliver!! This is what im hoping we should be looking at; Portsmouth (a) win Norwich (a) draw S****horpe (h) win Hull (h) win If only things were as simple as that! But i have the belief we can do it! and id love nothing more than a massive win at Carrow Road!! Come on lads we can do it !! x
norfolkfox222 Posted 23 September 2010 Author Posted 23 September 2010 Brilliant feedback! Pointless thread of year?
m00nie Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 think someone allready made a must win next 2 games thread.. you seem to have missed the middle part out though.. mid table etc.. just because you dont make the play offs dont mean it will be a relegation battle.. as ive said all along im not too fussed with a promotion push anyway this year.. mid table will do... i dont think we will have any relegation battle worries either as we will climb the table soon enough... we show signs of class at some points so bit more work and maybe couple more faces and we will be a squad who will have it all.. when we go up next season at least it will be with stability.. playing well.. good squad.. on a run.. to give us that bit more in the premiership.. then we can build on that so we can stay up there.... sorted..
Tilley Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 We won't win at Portsmouth or Norwich. We'll beat Scunny and draw against Hull.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 It doesn't matter how many games we play. They are all important.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 10 points. You heard it here first, this is where our season begins.
Alexikokopops Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 If we don't get at least 13 points I'll be disappointed.

Wymsey Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 The Hull game will be MASSIVE as if we win its shows Pearson we don't need him anymore, if we draw then its quite a decent result, whilst if lose then it would make Mandaric to think on whether he was right to let Nigel to speak to Hull and go there.
Alexikokopops Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Maybe I was being a bit conservative. 14 points.
AyewJoking Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Could get 9 points from a possible 12. Norwich is the banana skin.

Bollocks.

Zingari Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 If we don't get at least 13 points I'll be disappointed. i just can't picture that have you got any photographic evidence of yourself showing disappointment ?
North-LondonFox Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Couldn't agree more with this thread - however, I think we'll struggle at Pompey this time though!
Corky Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Norwich is the toughest of the lot- need to be looking at six points from the homes and three at Portsmouth
theoxonfox Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 you"ve all forgot to mention that we have got a match against the thailand national team on oct 9th,how draining is that gonna be when we have a match the following tues night?
surrifox Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 you"ve all forgot to mention that we have got a match against the thailand national team on oct 9th,how draining is that gonna be when we have a match the following tues night? nothing to base this on of course but I suspect that the Thailand national team might be a bit crap. Also we will probably field a 2nd XI I thought that the thailand team were coached by an ex premiership manager at one time can't remember who though
Guest Bilo Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Peter Reid. He's gone to Plymouth. It's Bryan Robson now.
