Edmund Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Because Mandaric couldn't give a shit now. He's got his money and nothing to lose now. Either way he's quids in.
Guest ttfn Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 He doesn't have any power anyway. He can be outvoted at board meetings
wurmer Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 The dreaded vote of confidence? I hope so. Nah, the MOF bloody means it I think... Mandaric Pledges Support To Sousa Posted on: Mon 27 Sep 2010 Leicester City Chairman, Milan Mandaric, is in full support of his manager, Paulo Sousa and urges everyone at the club to unite behind the City boss. Despite the club's disappointing 6-1 defeat at Fratton Park on Friday, against his former club, Portsmouth, Mandaric is sure that his manager will turn things around. "I believe in Paulo and in the players. Friday was a disappointment for us all, but Paulo is a great character and he has the ability to move the club in the right direction. "Now is the time for everyone, whether they are a player or a supporter, to unite and help us to get the results we want against Norwich and S****horpe this week. "We must get behind the manager and his team. I am confident that they will turn this situation around as we have a good team, good supporters, and good owners who have been totally supportive in taking the team forward."
Lord Fox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Well has to some out and say all this $h!t. He appointed the guy and has to save face somehow , not likely to admit he's wrong until the last minuet
Wymsey Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 So, when is Milan going? When we lose tomorrow i presume to avoid this protest on Saturday
1964FOX Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 If mandaric sacks Sousa he would have to stump up the compo and that's not in the deal with the new owners so he would personally lose out and that's not going to happen.
Cat Burger Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Friday was a disappointment for us all Ignore the statue!
Maybes Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 All this after his waving debacle at Portsmouth. The guy is a media hunting whore. The sooner he leaves the better.
Hitesh Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 This is the kiss of death for Sousa! A "Chairman" shouldn't have to come out and say this if he wasn't worried about anything. If we don't win tomorrow evening then I don't expect Sousa to be around come Saturday.
Jackirius Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 , i swear before he fired Holloway and Allen he released a statement saying exactly the same...? And anyway i don't believe an ounce of bullshit tat comes out his mouth any more...
Guest BlueBrett Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I do feel a bit sorry for Soussa. Whilst I have disagreed with many of the decisions he has made the majority of our performances really havn't been that bad. In fact I recall many people eulogising about the new approach follwing the opening day, some even saying it was the best football they had ever seen at the Walkers. Like so many people keep saying though football is about results and money and the two go hand in hand, so ultimately Paulo's start has been unsatisfactory and if we lose our next two games, even if we were to have 80% possession and 100 shots, he should probably go. Mandaric on the other hand...what a ****! Does he really think any of us care what he thinks about the situation?! He certainly didn't look very disappointed on Friday night. Next board meeting a motion for his removal as chairman should be proposed and carried on the grounds that he no longer has the club's best interests at heart and he should f.uck off back to the South coast.
Blue Bob Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Funny no one ever gets a vote of confidence when it's all going well, usually it's 2 games before you get fired - well here's hoping mandaric is swift with his action while there is still the majority of the season left!
Kent Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 What his says to the media will generally mean fook all. Like someone has said on here who has/is a reliable source, the board won't tolerate much more.
MPH Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 In such a short statement I find it intresting that on two seperate occasions he pretty much appeals to the players to unite and get behind the manager...
Chrysalis Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 well I heard sousa was gone, obviously wrong info but at least we now have the vote of confidence that usually precedes sackings.
phillthefox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 well if we lose tonight at norwich i hope they both do 1 asap, cos i felt like smashing the f****ng coach up friday night, while sousa was sat on the bench laughing the man is an absolute TWAT, excuse the language as im still raging from friday.... We want our o'neill back
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 He stated today that he, and the board have long-term ambitions for the club and that Paulo Sousa is apart of that. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2897/championship/2010/09/28/2140243/leicester-city-chairman-milan-mandaric-rubbishes-reports-of
m00nie Posted 28 September 2010 Posted 28 September 2010 if we lose the next few games then any long term plan could soon be scrapped.. a clubs hardly going to come out and say hes on borrowed time.. especially as we got a game tonight and need spirits up..
