maddog Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Last chance for Sousa to save himself, although i have a strange feeling he may be gone Saturday regardless of the result. Either way anything less than a win will surely see him go. If we're going to sack him, Saturday is the time to do it, with a 2 week international break. I make that 1 week to get a new boss in, giving him another week to prepare as much as possible for the Hull game. Scunny have drawn their last couple of Championship games, i watched them on the tele against Man Utd and they looked very, very good. With some firms though they are up to 4/1 to win this one which is surprising considering our terrible start. We thumped them here last season, lets hope for more of the same Saturday, giving Sousa a couple of weeks to get us ready for 5 games in 2 weeks. Hull home, swiftly followed by Leeds and Swansea away, cup game against the Baggies then Preston at home. Although i kind of see where fans are coming from with regards to us losing Saturday, i still think if you really want us to have 5 points from 10 matches then your mental. I rekon we will win 2-1, King and Berner. Come on BLUESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Wymsey Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I pessimistic about this one as S****horpe look much stronger than when they played us last season and us, well basically we are shitter since Nigel went. Draw or lose.
bluefox9er Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 if we had a HUGE win like a 5-0 or a 6-1 then maybe Sousa might have a brief stay of execution..but I think no matter what the score, he's gone, and probably replaced by someone else who is no better than the poor sod. Watch sousa to go elsewhere and kick arse..it's amazing what a coach can do when he isn't managing a bunch of division 4 performers and pub league type players...because with 3 exceptions, thats exactly what our squad is.
StanSP Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Comprehensive win. Waghorn hat-trick and King with 2.

Draw or lose. bizarre really - sell their two best strikers (Hooper and Hayes) and improve..... can see us beating them though on Saturday which I reckon (unfortunately) will give the cheap mans 'special one' a bit more time....

Stig the Lawnmower Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 voted for a win, but not so sure! I'm getting so pessimistic since the pompey debacle it's worrying me. I hope it finally all comes together for Paulo and we wipe the floor with them. I really want him to be successful for city, but I fear his time with us is coming to an end. I won't be there this week, I'll be standing in the cold and rain trackside at Thruxton picking up bikes and riders when they fall off. But I know I'm guaranteed a brilliant day despite the weather, on the other hand if I was at filbo and we lose..........................
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Either a hard fought one nil win or a shit 0-0/1-1. I hope the former though.
Jackirius Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Hopefully Sousa is gone and the new manager boosts the team a bit... Im saying Scunthorpe 1 - 2 Leicester
wigstonexile Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Hopefully Sousa is gone and the new manager boosts the team a bit... Im saying Scunthorpe 1 - 2 Leicester Well he has gone now. Need to get behind the team and management 100% tomorrow it won't be a walk over like last year. S****horpe are much stronger defensively this year and Scunny team wise are a strong unit one for all and all that. But I hope for a City win but think it will be a draw. A Foxes fan living in S****horpe - with grandchildren who support S****horpe!!!!
CheshireFox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 can i change my vote now?? i voted we would lose due to lack of morale, but i reckon this should galvanise the team and hopefully we will get the win we deserve!! i'd say 3-1 now with Dyer, Howard and King to score! Come on you FOXES!!

dandannieldanok Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 1-1 draw, we're in complete disarray with today's events and Powell and Stowell will do well to organise them in just one day. Big chance for Scunny to bag another away win.
Corky Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I'm hoping that the players want to impress te next manager. 2-0 win.
dandannieldanok Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Paul Fletcher of BBC fame will be at the game tomorrow and will blog on it. Win it for Paul!
Corky Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Paul Fletcher of BBC fame will be at the game tomorrow and will blog on it. Win it for Paul! We might even get extended coverage on the FLS.
ajthefox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I rekon it'll be a draw, could quite easiliy see it going to scunny tho. Then again I wouldn't be that surprised if we sneaked the points either.
Guest Bilo Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 The lads play out of their skins for Chrissy P and sneak a vital 2-1 win.
Ozwin Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 We're going to effing maul them 5-0, then Sven and MON will fight it out on the pitch for the managerial position.
