Howard9 Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 I know a couple of Leeds fan who say that their defence is weak against the bigger forwards; they struggled a lot against Jon Parkin when Preston visited. If this is the case, Howard has to play and terrorise them. However their attack is what I fear most. Somma is a good player and talented for this league, and Becchio scored a cracker at the weekend so he'll be high on confidence. Hoping that Davies has a good game or even better than Saturday. Is Fryatt back? Fryatt is not back tonight but will be back for the swansea clash (y)
MPH Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 DNG is out for two weeks following an injury he picked up in Thailand. Thin we'll lose 2-1 tonight, with Waghorn scoring. Okies.... thought I read he was back.ignore me!
marbelladave Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Fryatt, Howard, Dyer, N'Guessan all out, God knows who is going to play up front. Can't even go 4-5-1 as we have no wide men to get up and support Waghorn! A draw will be a very good result tonight...Come on City, scrap...
MC Prussian Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Defensive-wise, we're looking better than ever before. All I hope for is that our back four can prevent Leeds from getting inside the box and that Weale keeps a clean sheet - after all, it's been a while. I just fear midfield and the strike force won't be in sync once more. Unless somebody finally steps up. In the past few games, you could always rely on Dyer adding an extra force on the flanks. He will be missed. Or not. 2-0 to us, an early and a late goal to seal victory.

Corky Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 With our selection problems all I can see is a defeat sadly. Very much hope I'm wrong.
lestajigs Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 We have one clean sheet in 16 games, Leeds have failed to score in only one of their last 13 games. Leeds 2 City 0 Beers at the ready - I have a feeling I'm going to need them. I hope I'm proved wrong. C'mon City!!! I'd love it if we won from a last minute goal by Howard from a corner!
Lcfcman2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 I'll take any points that come our way! gonna be a tough one for sure. id love a scrappy 1-0 to us. clean sheet and a win but cannot see leeds not scoring. Hope i'm proved wrong. come on the boys!
marbelladave Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Crncic? Or one of the Academy players maybe... Got a feeling it will 4-4-fooking-2 with Gallagher playing off Waghorn. Moussa and Oakley on the flanks... Unless Svennis gets really creative thats what I expect, hope i'm wrong!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 It's a big game mentally for the lads tonight. I see Leeds as a team that will finish just inside or outside the playoff positions so the 6 point difference between our points tally made by a win/loss is massive if we want to push on and get up there by the end. Leeds win and they go 11points ahead of us and possibly into the playoffs. We win and the gap is down to 5 and the league starts to look nice and bunched up around the middle. I have absolutely no idea what to expect. Both sides pretty hit and miss so anything could happen. I'll put us down for a nice 3-1 win though. 1-1 til about 70 mins then Davies will score a header and Howard will kill them off with a 92nd minute toe-poke. C'MON CITY!!!

Salieri Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 No major surprises with that line up. Come on lads.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Cant believe Gallagher is playing ahead of Howard. He has been poor lately.
