Mee Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 \o/ . Great result last night, Moussa seemed to have a great game. The Sun saying we played such free-flowing football, so i think we may be on the up.
kimmy619 Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Wonder if she's on here. Plenty of Leeds stewards floating around... http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=2378565917 Have you checked out the pics? Gallagher is in there I think I really wanted to see a pic of the Leeds bint on there, but couldn't.
Thracian Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 match stats: from the beeb 59% possesion to 41% 9 shots on target to 3 5 shots off target to 4 1 corner to 2 9 fouls to 15 Those are cracking stats for an away team and what pleases me is that after going 1-0 up we scored a second and sounded like we spent 90 minutes trying properly to win the game instead of 15 as on Saturday. That possession stat looks like Christmas lights to me - very impressive, and a sign, I hope, that the step back to hoofball in the second half on Saturday has quickly been corrected by Sven. And that we seem to be signing or being linked to proper players - people who make a difference and pose the opposition problems. Perhaps, at long last, we are going to have a football team again. Mousa knew how we needed to play but Sven seems to have the inspirational clout to get people who can play that kind of passing game not only with with style but with effect. Long may it continue.
whitlock Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Funny since he got man of the match on Saturday, allthough i didnt personally think he did enough to deserve that Fo' real?
Thracian Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 I might get shot for this. . Under Sousa we apparently did all our training with theball. We spent 2 months doing this every day. This MUST of improved our ability as a team to pass. Under sven we are improving our fitness too. We now have a fit team who can play football!!! Sousa could hardly say he wasn't told. Even the players complained they weren't training hard enough.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 davies cant defend for shiyte... Is that a joke?
whitlock Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Is that a joke? Obviously didnt see how immense he was last night, defended solidly, picked a pass, calm in possesion, attacked well, loved the cheeky step over! If we brought him for £6 odd million, that would be a bargain in my eyes!
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 davies cant defend for shiyte... actually gobsmacked what a prize ****
Karljohn Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Great result last night, didn't make it as couldn't get away from work early enough but always nice to beat dirty Leeds. Just hope we can get some clean sheets soon, Sven was talking about controlling the game against Hull, and he wanted us to do it better, loads of positives last night but the one negative was leaking that goal which made for a nervy last ten minutes. I imagine Naughton being Sheffield born, enjoyed that goal against Leeds. Great stuff.
purpleronnie Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I read on another forum hardly any leicester stood, is this what usually happens at away games nowadays?, I ask because I'm back in england next week and now I'm not going to be working in the states for the foreseeable future I thought about going to some aways but if everyone sits I aint going to bother.

Apparently Leeds stewards are beyond militant.
lou Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Apparently Leeds stewards are beyond militant. On a Par with the Middlesboro ones.... standing isnt a option (except for about 15 of us right on the far left @ Boro last time)

Absolute bastards the stewards at leeds. somehow though i managed to stand up throughout. when others were being told to sit around me, i just stood and watched the game intently. Admittedley the woman didnt come near me, ese I'd have definately sat down! Same happened in the cup game though, they were well strict, then seemed to give up for the last 10 mins of the game. Anyone else think its a coincidence the fact that ater 20mins or so into the game, we sat back and let leeds come into it more, which happened around the same time the majority of the fans were made to sit down???

What around the time that Grayson made a substitution for Leeds to change the way they were playing to combat our dominance? Nah, you're right, it was definitely the singing that changed things

Everyone did 1st 20 and last half hour. Stewards were just beyond shite. A good 200 resisted all game. Every other game this season will be fine.
lcfc_jme Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Coming back to this thread seeing as I've just watched the highlights on the BBC Sport website.. Didn't get to see all of the chances we created first 15, did see the sublime football we played which led to Berner's right-footed strike that cannoned off the bar. Beautiful stuff and if Berner's shot had gone in, it would've been being absolutely jizzed all over by everyone. And at Sven with the female admirers at the beginning. Such a hero
ousefox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I stood up for the whole game and was on the left at the front of the higher tier. Weird how the woman selected people to sit down so randomly
