Portsmouth looking to be liquidated

Agreed. I may have to kill the next person who mentions the 6-1 game and how it will be chalked off. I'm no big fan of portsmouth but I hope they come through this. Sooner or later a club will go bust and it could just as likely be us.

Every club has fans like that I clearly remember Pompey fans taking the piss and posting some really nasty shit when we went into admin and along with many others calling us cheats even though they'd just been saved themselves by Mandaric.

It's good that the 6-1 defeat will be wiped off

In all seriousness though it's shocking this is happening. Feel for the fans, hopefully something can be sorted at the last minute to keep them afloat.

What amazing supporter cohesion we have in this country. A club about to lose 100+ years of history, many fans about to lose a huge part of their lives and all we care about is chalking off a 6-1 defeat. Utter bollocks.

Agree. And I don't buy any of this shit about how they acted when we went into admin. Pretty embarassing seeing our fans come out with stuff like that.

edit: not that it's relevant anyway as they're going to be alright...

What a surprise, couldn't see that one coming MUCH!!!!

And the most unbelivable comment of the weekend from the new owner "We have the full support of Mr. Cotterill, our manager, as long as he keeps producing what he has been producing he will get what he wants," Balram Chainrai told Sky Sports News. He added: "We are going to need to borrow money from elsewhere, but that is all going to be discussed in confirmation with all the assurances that we have given to the Football League."

Almost defies belief really.

I can't see him being in it for the good of the club anyway, he'll want his money out pretty sharpish. The story has some way to run yet I think.

Yep, Portsmouth aren't out of the woods yet I feel. I still say a Football League club will go before the end of the season.
