Walker's Stadium on the centre of the pitch, with the Birch asking the important questions
ramboacdc Posted 25 October 2010 Author Posted 25 October 2010 Walker's Stadium on the centre of the pitch, with the Birch asking the important questions shame my dads a liverpool fan. he wasnt happy when i said "oh look dad goodison park do weddings!" my dad tried to raise me as a red but luckily my mum was a foxes fan.
Wymsey Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Seriously my Dad got married at the Finches Arms (well the reception was there anyway and there's a church nearby) The Finches is very popular these days in Oakham, Rutland and i say their quality of service is great. Expensive but i highly recommend it It overlooks stunning views by the way and food first class
Unit Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 I reckon I could fit a few people in my garden. I would suggest Gretna but everybody gets married there, nobody's ever got married at mine. Only £50 too!

cambridgefox Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Go back to Barbados and get them to pay for you, give it all the romantic thing about how great it would be to get married where they got engaged. Then say i would love to come but cant afford it! I got married at the aerial shop, the cerenomy was shit but the reception was fantastic! Oh dear that was poor!
AmyLGK Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 How unique? It really depends on budget! I'm getting Married at Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire - used to be a 12th century monastery, it's now a hotel but they have kept a lot of the original features and is quite dark and gothic. We looked at Rockingham Castle but where you have the wedding breakfast a massive wooden staircase divides it up in two so you can't see half of your guests!!!
Zingari Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 in a Hot Air Balloon ? or whilst Bungee jumping ? on the new Queen Elizabeth ship?

lildave3 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 A traditional church is always nice. I just don't think you've grasped the concept of the thread.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Define unique. OED says, "Being one of a kind, without equal." Hmmmm, tricky... the Moon?
MC Prussian Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 A Scottish mate of mine at work recently mentioned a place next to where he used to live: The VU in Bathgate, West Lothian.
samjohnson Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 I did hear of someone tying the knot under a waterfall - or in a cave with a waterfall background... something involving a waterfall... Could have been at Viagra/ Niagara Falls for all i know

The Doctor Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Space or maybe realistic top of St.George's retail tower? joking. How about the Eiffel tower? cliche. (why do hear that word in such a camp voice?).
broughtonblue Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 budget doesnt matter. ill look at coombe abbey for them. Been to two weddings at coombe abbey lately, lovely setting, excellent service, decent hotel rooms. Drinks a bit pricey though, still after a few that doesn't matter!
