Will never look at him in the same light again I signed him and he ousted Waghorn from my team within weeks. Scored a brace on debut and Derek rates him as potentially a very good premier league player in the future. Let's have him!

The stuff Le Tiss came up... Magic. Sadly, similar talent and genius seems to be a rare treat these days. Where have all the Le Tissiers gone? Fantastic player many an amazing goal, very loyal but did he lack ambition? The cultured midfielder spraying passes around the park, most teams had one but now with the emphasis more on work rate this type of player is a dying breed, sad really because with the clampdown on tackling this sort of player would do well nowadays. Gerrard is that type of player but has a higher workrate than the old type who rarely it seemed moved far from the center circle, hence my fond memories of Gary Parker.

It better happen, those are the sort of players this Club needs and if they fail to sign him and players of this calibre and we fail to make the top half of the league at the end of the season, then I will not be giving this Club any money throughout the 2011/2012 campaign

And I stand by what I said, he got Kuban Krasnador promoted to Russia's top league with four games still to play, he worked wonders with Romanians Unirea Urziceni, and every single member on this forum will be saying "Philbert you were right" when he gets a job in this country and produces miracles, and I'll turn round and say "Well I'm sorry guys I'm not Chief Executive"
