"You do your talking on the pitch by scoring goals and giving assists, you don’t have to talk on the phone. So I guess we have talked a fair amount!"

now that's the kind of striker we need...yes please!!

Matthew Le Tissier made a career of them

Haha ... it's one thing folk comparing him with Manchester's answer to Desperate Dan but i'd sure welcome anyone with even a hint of Le Tissier's talent. His greatest goals video just goes on and on - there's so many of them - and he reminds me of all that we're missing at Leicester at the moment. That we cannot despatch such clearly limited teams as S****horpe, Hull and Preston with some aplomb is lamentable. Anyone even vaguelly exciting would be an improvement up front, cos Dyer is the only light in what seems to be an otherwise dark tunnel.

Is one of the best players the Premier League has ever seen.

This lad's a school boy, behave.

at some point someone would be saying the same about Le Tiss, the point is there's nothing to say that that shot was just a fluke and he couldn't do it regularly

Imagine the scene:

'It's the 94th minute at the City Ground here, City need to score to win promotion here. Ball from Wellens, oh terrible mistake from Wes Morgan there, ball falls to Guidetti...

IT'S THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!'

Goal horn.

Underpants get sticky.

Don't get me wrong, I wish the lad all the best - especially if he signs.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I'm not, someone basically said he's scored the best goal he ever will already and like I said some players make a career out of it

I have vague memory that Waghorn was a Geordie version of Wayne Rooney too , Why are these players never compared to any one good :dunno::ph34r:

lol Controversial, I like it.

You have a good point, though. Put another way:

John Guidetti is the next Rob Earnshaw.

And to me by watching the video's a more realistic player to be likened to would be Henrik Larsson

When has Larsson ever nailed in a screamer from that far and then shouted in an opponent's face?

You strip away the veneer of intelligence and civility and we're all the same underneath

Look we all know there is only one Wayne Rooney we hear the united fans sing it enough, and if there was two of them I don't think Manchester could cope and would just collapse in on its self with the weight of there ego's :giggle:

I wish we had a player like Le Tissier, just a younger version, preferrably in his late teens, early twenties.

The stuff Le Tiss came up... Magic.

I remember seeing him at the start of a game. Everybody was ready to kickoff and he was scratching his balls and yawning!

Absolute legend.

Sadly, similar talent and genius seems to be a rare treat these days.

Where have all the Le Tissiers gone?

His enthusiasm to want to do well for himself is good to hear.

And he sounds like he has so much to offer.

Will be pleased if we can get someone with his hunger in on a loan deal with view to buy perhaps.

Manchester City youngster John Guidetti is hoping to secure a loan move to Leicester City following Sven Goran Eriksson's appointment as manager.

Guidetti was brought to City in 2008 during Eriksson's time in charge at Eastlands and is keen for a reunion with his fellow Swede.

The striker made his first-team debut for City against West Brom in the Carling Cup in September after returning from a loan spell with his former club Brommapojkarna.

The 18-year-old feels Eriksson may be interested in signing him for Leicester and is waiting to see if a move to the Walkers Stadium materialises.

Awesome:

"I can imagine that he is interested. After all, he was the one who got me to City in the first place," Guidetti told Eurosport.

"I haven't spoken to Eriksson as such - he is a manager and he has a lot to do all the time. But everything is up to City and if they want to let me go or not.

"If I carry on scoring goals then we will see if I will get a chance at City or join Eriksson at Leicester. If I play well clubs will be interested.

"It would be a good loan for me, they are a good team with great players. It would be awesome.
