Magictv Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 I presume you are one of the Fosse Boys then No mate, not been to the walkers since 2008. Don't live in leicester anymore, have been to less than 10 away games in that time, so no, I'm no fosse boy.
1964FOX Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 I will be in trouble for this yes but it has to be said. Yes, the Fosse boys are trying to raise the atmosphere during the home fixtures but they can be quite o.t.t. This is not from what i am saying, i went to a few games in the marks electrical stand (not in corporate the box during these game) this season and the people i went with, feel the F.B's are harsh on the stewards, they (and me) felt bad as city supporters when they put the 's****horpe standing' banner and their actions sometimes can put certain fans going to the walker's again considering how rude and disrespectful they can be. I am in big fox crap now i said this but every thing has a for and against in it You have the right to your opinion but I would argue about us being rude, I wouldn't be happy with group members being generally rude to any one, of course there will be individual occasions when some inappropriate things are said but nobody is perfect we all make mistakes. In fact one of them is going to get a lecture before the match on Wednesday for lack of self restraint.
Houdini Logic Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Bilo, your such a twat at times. Of course people are going to stick up for their club. Whenever I read any of your posts I just have to facepalm. You talk a load of bollocks, maybe you should learn to stick up for the Fosse Boys properly if your going to do it. I'm a Fosse Boy same as you, and stuff people have been posting makes us look like right ****s and your doing nothing about it. Just because you've made 6k posts, and write fooking essays all the time, doesn't put you above everyone else! You're proving Bilo's point you tool. A lot of people posting on here are trying to get a reaction - there's probably some of their opinions in what they're saying, but they're putting it across in a way to make no end of mugs lap it up and argue. There's ways and means of doing things and if you think biting at people who are just going to laugh behind their monitor at your responses is the right way then you shouldn't be criticising anyone about what they should or shouldn't do
1964FOX Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 The Walkers will never be atmospheric because the Kop died along with Filbert street and the section that used to sing in the East Stand. Leicester City really did balls the ground plan up when we moved to the Walkers. We've tried people switching to N Block(was a great idea) never worked because of the club, Fosse Boys probably won't work(although I do want you do) because of the club again. I think it will take 2-3 full seasons to get established so persistance and long term commitment are required. You may be right it might not last that long but I will be happy we tried. I shall continue singing regardless, I do think there is a good chance we can survive we have some good dedicated young lads in the group who have the skills to male it work.
ajthefox Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 You're right I can't move them, but it would be much better for the atmosphere. Terracing in certain areas would do even more, but the way I see it is even if every city fan who wanted to stand and sing all game did in segragated area it wouldn't make a difference. As I said it really gets me that our atmosphere is how it is, rarely do I feel as much pride as I do when stood singing about City, but lack of atmosphere is far from a problem that is selective to us. You could probably pick any all-seater stadium in this country built within the last 10 years or so and you would have the same problem. If there was a change that allowed stading, there would definitely be an improvement because no doubt thousands would flock there, but that is a change beyond what us fans want.

No you are wrong it's a post like this that will make us look right ****s as you eloquently put it.
Kitchandro Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 I'd also like to point out that I am all fornd singing in support of City, but the way you talk about other supporters is just stupid. I'm 19 now, but in 60 years I'm not going to be doing the same thing and I'll fooking bet you won't either. But if I'm too old to stand up and sing I would be sensible and move to the Family Stand or something, and I certainly wouldn't be complaining about the fans singing, as some people do.

Ben, you really are a disabled at times lad. lol I'm going to shit in your drawer of the freezer while you're out tomorrow, just for lulz.
ajthefox Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 You say that but maybe you might not want to when the time comes. Say you've been sat next to a group of ST holders for years, you might not want to move for the sake of a couple of youngsters who want to sing all game. It's good that some people consider others feelings but not everyone will do that, and not doing so is hardly a crime. We are all there to support the team, how valid singing all game is is not really something to arge over. Complaining is just daft, I agree with that. As I said, everyone has a right to sit where they choose and to make as much noise as they choose. Anyone who complains about noise at a football match is a goon and should put a sock in it.
